Host & Stay - Princess Place Townhouse

It was close to the centre of Whitby. Comfortable couple sized studio. Clean and attractive decor.

Difficult to find at first. Directions unclear. WiFi was unreliable at times. There were a large number of flies on the door to the outside which meant they came into the studio - unless time was spent getting them out.

The location of the property is fantastic. Property is well stocked with everything you may need. Great clean house would definitely stay again. This is now our second stay here and would recommend to others

Only two faults i can think of is Upstairs toilet wouldn't flush properly. Some of the roasting tins were well used and could do with replacing.

Location

When we was looking for a place to stay, we look at a property with a garden as we had a dog. When we arrived we found out that we was not allowed to use the garden area. This was very disappointing to us as we would have sat outside. This was not mentioned in the description for the property. If I know before I went I would have looked for another property.

The property was clean, well decorated and an excellent base to stay and explore Whitby and other areas. Nice size. Great location too

Going through the back gate across other peoples gardens who had big dogs which barked aggressively at us as we tried to get in and out of the property.

The location was fine, Room was clean, with all facilities in the kitchen/ bathroom.. Access was Ok

The main stipulation was, that afer the booking was accepted,we were informed that an extra damage deposit of 250 pound is required upon arrival or a damage insurance of 25 pounds (none refunable) on tope of the initial booking! This effectively increased the cost of the stay from what had been advertised ! As it was too late to start looking elewhere we reluctatly paid this extra charge ! A single (Small) wardrobe , only large enough for 1 x persons clothing, it also snagged the carpet, we had to lean against it to open the door. Tried many time to get the TV to work, it kept saying no internet, after findiing a swiching on the internet, the TV stiil would'nt work,. Only one beside cabinet on one side of the bed. There was a parking spot 'Maked'' No 4 Pricess Place, but there was also a ''House with No 4 Princess place'' so no parking ! Shower curtain, not a screen or door, very unconfortuble showering (we thought curtains had gone out a few years ago)

Location was good, accommodation was comfy and modern with lots of good facilities. Excellent communication with the host and stay team

The bedroom at the top of the property was very warm and would benefit from a fan to cool the room down.

Cleanliness and quietness.

Felt very uncomfortable with the neighbours who's front door and garden we had to walk past. Obviously the holiday home users are an issue for them. Had the gate shut in my face as I followed to access our accommodation.
