Gatwick hideout

A beautiful location, lovely property, so comfy, everything you could need, friendly hosts, a lovely short walk to the local pub and getting to play with the dogs is always a plus!

Loved everything!

The best place to stay the night before you fly out from Gatwick. It's easy to access this unique property which was beautifully clean with all the facilities you'd expect from somewhere bigger. You can also leave your car at the location for a very reasonable fee.

Excellent location to both terminals, pub in walking distance for a quick tea prior to early night before flight, host was informative and really helpful

Stayed twice now as a great location for gatwick airport. Accommodation is comfortable and relaxing, surrounded by woodland. Two pubs nearby for eats and drinks but if you wish to self cater there is everything you'd need. Highly recommend. Parking for your holiday duration is available too, check with the owner.

Compact and quiet but everything we needed!

OK, I am staying here from now on whenever I have to fly out of Gatwick! Laura and Dan were such amazing hosts. Not only did Laura cheerfully offer to pick me up and drop me off at the airport for less than an Uber would've cost, and she kept me totally apprised at every step of the way about where to meet and timing, she also helped me to arrange delivery of delicious Chinese food for my dinner and assisted me with drying my clothes after I had a bit of a hiccup with the washing machine provided in the unit. (And what a thoughtful amenity for someone who has been traveling for 2 weeks to have a washer/dryer in the unit!) I loved meeting their two friendly Rottweilers as well. The dogs would come by and visit me when I was out on the lovely little patio, which I greatly appreciated having and especially the fact I was allowed to smoke and an ashtray and cute little seating area were provided. Hosts were readily available but never intrusive. The unit has everything a solo traveler could possibly want: fridge, kettle and a whole little kitchenette really, glasses, mugs, dishes and silverware included. Milk in the fridge and coffee, tea and sugar plus some other unexpected sundries like jam and peanut butter. Plenty of outlets for charging and a separate portable clicker for the lights! The bed was really comfy. There is a separate seating area with TV and you can log into your Netflix. Bathroom features a luxurious shower. The entire unit is just sparkling clean and they've paid attention to every single detail. Walking distance to a convenience store, pubs and restaurants. I was only there overnight before my flight, but would love to stay even longer!

I have literally not a single negative thing to say about this accommodation. Ten out of ten. Stop looking and book a stay here!

Nicely renovated barn on a private property. Bed was comfortable and bathroom stylish and spacious. Facilities are provided to make food. This was a pleasant alternative to an airport hotel and nearby pubs in the village are good options to visit.

I don't really understand providing a washing machine without having a dryer. It could have been really useful to me. As the building is of course in the flight path you will hear many planes but i've never found the noise to be unpleasant. Price wise it's reasonable.

The property and location were precisely as described and very nice. The fact that the unit was self contained meant that we could make a cup of tea or watch TV, etc.

Unfortunately I did not sleep as the noise of airplanes flying over kept me awake. Each hour until the early hours of the morning, a particularly large airplane would come over and it sounded like it was just above the property! In between, other planes would go over making it stressful and keeping me awake. This was a big set back for me and the only reason I would not recommend the property.

Gorgeous location, beautifully decorated, quiet, safe, fully equipped, close to local village with general store,Cafe & 2 pubs Would definitely stay there again 10 minutes from Gatwick Airport
