Gatwick hideout

This is the perfect little place for an early morning flight from Gatwick! Forget the big characterless hotels at the airport this is so much nicer. It's named perfectly as it really is a hidden little hideout. It's located on a private gated estate surrounded by fields and gardens and two other barn conversions but feels private. It is fully equipped inside with a full kitchen for preparing a meal and a lovely walk in shower room, comfy bed and a sofa and tv. WiFi is good. There is parking right beside the barn. We will use this little jem every time we have an early flight from now on and have already booked for our next trip away!

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Clean and spacious.

The lodge is situated in beautiful surroundings. From the outside, it looks like a shed. A very big shed but a shed! Inside it's well appointed with leather sofa, superb shower room and full kitchen facilities including washing machine. It felt very 'homely' Although it's a bit off the beaten track there is The Greyhound Italian Gastro pub no more than five minutes walk. Local shop and other walkable distance bars. I enjoyed sitting outside the lodge at dusk amongst trees, flowers bees and bats. Very secluded and private little area. I would stay there again.

Tiny thing. I was sent a phone number by What's app which when you dialed it automatically opens the gates to the driveway.. I read this as you phone the number and spoke to someone who opens the gates for you.. It's not the easiest place to find so I was calling the number from the Greyhound pub to get some directions but it just cuts out which worried me until I found the place and grasped the situation

Amazingly close to Gatwick airport, yet felt rural in a quiet little village. So glad we found this place as alternative to the typical airport hotel/ Inn’s. Pubs are walking distance for dinner or drinks. Loved the fruit bowl touch. Sad we couldn’t stay a little bit longer really! Lovely way to end a holiday!
