Absolutely stunning property and countryside, beautifully decorated and a cozy little spot to lay your head for the night. Hosts were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. As a queer couple we felt very safe and looked after!

Literally just down to preferences for this but the bed was a bit too squishy for our liking, and would have benefitted from more pillows but was perfect and very cozy otherwise!

More storage space would be an absolute bonus, we had to store 'extra' clothes in the car boot! OK as the weather was brilliant but a real negative if cold or wet!

The accommodation was absolutely spotless, beautifully furnished and set in an idyllic location. Right at the end of a lane down to the river, so no passing traffic. The gardens were just coming into bloom in early May and the shepherd's hut was ideal for sitting and relaxing in the evening sun, with a glass of wine and a book. The sound of the river and birdsong was all we needed. Our host was welcoming, friendly and obviously loved where he lived, full of information and advice of things to do and places to see. If you want to get away from it all, relax and have your own space, then the Leat is for you.

The Leat was a perfect location for our 2 night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. The property was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely bathroom and a comfy bed. The kitchen area is small but had everything we needed. We made use of the Shepherd’s hut- a wonderful area to sit and admire the view and watch the wildlife. Viv was an excellent host, offering suggestions for local places to visit and eat. Thanks too for the milk, water, tea and coffee left for us. We’d love to return some day.
