This is a lovely, cosy place great for single/double person

I could quite happily stay for long periods, how cooking facilities aren’t equipped for long stays

Room was exceptionally well presented and equipped. We were greeted by our host and facilities were well explained. Quiet and peaceful location.

Access to the premises were difficult to find on sat-nav and hedgerows on the road down were overgrown. Although not the responsibility of the owners to cut back, we did feel concerned about possible vehicle damage and ours is not a large car.

So cozy and cute out the way the hustle and bustle good for a much needed relaxed weekend.

The lane is very small to get down and my car didn’t like the gravel but other than that it was perfect!

The condition was immaculate and every detail had been considered. We really appreciated the milk, tea, coffee and bottled water. We loved the decor and felt very comfortable.

"Hidden gem near Tavistock"

The welcome from Viv was exceptional especially given I'd arrived far too early! the location is tucked away but his recommendation of using WhatThreeWords was a huge success. Its certainly off the beaten track and if peace and quiet -in comfort -is what you need, this is the place for you. Amazingly, he also offers a shepherds hut for reading or just relaxing which is an added bonus and beautifully positioned. In fact everything is beautifully thought out and cleverly designed. Viv is such a generous host and makes a solo traveler feel safe and supported. That said, my husband would love it there too, so I hope to be back!

Virtually nothing! I could have done with the instruction booklet for the microwave but that's probably just me!
