Stylish 2 bed apartment next to the Norfolk Broads

Lovely little apartment - perfect size for us as a family of three. Location is amazing. Lots of amenities within a 1-2 min walk and short drive to Wroxham.

We struggled to figure out the heating so it was cool in the lounge and very hot in the bedrooms. Some instructions about hot to use the heating and hot water would have been super useful.

The apartment was great, clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated. It had everything you needed.

The only issue we found was the fact that there was no hot water in taps, I would say it was lukewarm. There was hot water in the shower but the pressure was low and when you were having the shower, the water was constantly changing from hot, warm, cold and back to warm, hot etc. But we still really enjoyed our stay.

The location of this compact apartment is superb for the Broads and all the surrounding attractions, and it's good to note that right outside are a pharmacy, a butcher, a barber, a local shop... really handy. Just a little further are a tea room and four pubs. An ideal place from which to explore this part of Norfolk. Parking was okay (allocated underneath the apartment). The apartment was clean; the kitchen had a fridge & a separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine, toaster, kettle and enough utensils etc. The living room was comfortable and bright, a nice room to sit in and chat together. At the rear is a conservatory (well heated) for dining which is a good idea and greatly expands the available floorspace. No outdoor space to speak of really, although there is a table & chairs on a patio and enough room to dry some clothes in the sunshine if needed. The main bedroom was spacious, comfortable and has a lot of storage. The shower is easy to use and it was good to have a window in the shower room for ventilation and light (personally, I dislike any room without windows). All beds were clean and comfortable, plenty of towels. Enough seating for all; windows and doors all opened and lockable. To enter there are approx 12 steep concrete steps from street level to the first floor (and another set of stairs at the side of the building to gain entry to the rear). Just be aware if not very mobile or travelling with small children, a pram or heavy bags that these steps are steep. Once inside, there are no steps other than one between the kitchen and conservatory/dining area.

Overall we happy with this apartment and it is accurately described - it was just what we wanted; the host was responsive to questions prior to our visit and access was easy with the key box code etc. We would suggest it to other people, however bear in mind: not being techy, we didn't try to work the tv or sound system - that meant a lovely week of conversations: ideal for us but perhaps not for some! we did struggle to get hot water in the shower room sink and kitchen, but the shower water was always readily warm enough/hot. It wasn't a major issue so we didn't contact the host. the second bedroom is ideal for children & the gap between the bunk beds and the fitted wardrobe is relatively narrow, perhaps max 2.5 feet; there is an enormous fitted wardrobe along the entire wall which is a huge tick for storage but takes up a lot of space, and as an adult I found it not possible to turn around beside the bunk beds. This bedroom door doesn't close fully.

Parking. Moderate price, clean and new. All necessary facilities in kitchen

Netflix didn't work as advertised, nor did heating in the living room. Was OK in double bedroom, but only put on a little before going to bed then turned off. Perhaps there was something we did not understand about how it worked.

Location was perfect as a base for the activities we had planned in the surrounding area. The apartment had everything we needed, was clean and tidy and the communication from the host was excellent.

Great Location. Stylish, Modern apartment, quality fixtures and fittings. Quiet neighbours. Fantastic Chinese Takeaway. Friendly and communicative host.

A vacuum cleaner would have been a plus. No food waste bin.

Clean, well equipped and had a lovely, welcoming feel to it.

Very clean and well decorated apartment with all facilities required for a short stay. Ideal for a family of 4. One bedroom is a fairly small bunk bed room so it is best for children. Overall we really liked it, I think we will come back again.

Perhaps some new bed pillows? - but that’s being really picky now.
