Host & Stay - Beach View

We did but have a key for the outside door for the duration of our stay. We felt very unsafe knowing the door was unlocked while we slept at night. We also worried when we went out we would not get back into the apartment if another resident locked the door.

See above. Let down by cleanliness and general wear and tear which would easily be rectified (seal round the bath, mucky walls etc)

The place was roomy and in a good location.

The only complaint was that the showers both need re sealing as there is quite alot of black mold which makes it look dirty. The shower over the bath isnt as bad as the on-suite shower this is getting quite bad. I will attach a couple of photos.

The location was perfect,it was a ground floor apartment which was perfect as I had a baby in a pushchair, only 5 steps up to front door which I managed fine. The beds were so comfortable, the whole place was cosy and warmed up very quickly once heating was on.The heating,WiFi etc was very easy to use.

When closing the blinds in living room,to open them the cord was very high up which meant I had to stand on a chair to reach them,it was fine for myself but an elderly person would not manage that.

Lovely modern decor and fantastic location

Key safe at front door was very stiff to open (other guests told us they had the same problem) and parking Scratchcard was not provided in good time so we had to pay 4 days in public car park on top of holiday cost

Great views and great location

The apartment was lovely right across the road from the beach, quite, could not hear road noise In upper apartment and only through vents in lower apartment. well equipped, although we did not use any of it, while we were there, apart from bathrooms, Kettle, 2 cups, 2 glasses, bed. Never cook on holiday :) .Was just the 2 of us on this trip but would happily get another couple in or kids and have plenty of room. Short walk into the town, lots of places to eat and drink, not just on the lower town level, plenty on the higher levels of the town, Don't forget the side streets there are so many places to dine, drink and shop so go and explore it's not just houses and hotels down there. Not a dog owner, put did notice very dog friendly place and dog owners did pick up the mess, lots of shops, cafes, and pubs all left water bowls out. Would go back to the apartment and Whitby.

I think people must have found getting into the main entrance key pad door a little hard as the door handle was very loose, It was temperamental but my hubby managed to do ok, we did however watch the video on the website, a couple of days before on how to open it ( Heads up there ). Again with the key lockers. bit temperamental. would suggest a visual image on how to open, on the notice board above them would be very helpful . We did not get a scratch card for parking left at the apartment but to be honest it was worth paying for parking so we could keep an eye on the car just outside. You will find parking and driving around the town tight. it is the nature of, Whitby, that's why it's known for tiny alley ways and streets, Nooks and Crannies, find a car park, walk, wheel, or scooter around.

Excellent location. Well furnished, ample size

Was tidy enough but needed a thorough deep clean (cobwebs/stains on carpet etc)
