The Aylestone- Leicester City 1 Bedroom Apartment, Free Parking by YO ROOM!

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment on Aylestone Road, Leicester. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transport, local shops, and amenities. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and in great condition, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The landlord/management was responsive and helpful throughout my stay, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Leicester. Would definitely stay here again!

it was freezing cold in the bedroom couldn’t work radiator bathroom was ice cold

The iron and ironing board. Portable heaters supplied which we needed. Good size. Parking available. Easy to find and access the key. Hand wash and dish wash soap provided.

The shower area of the bath has missing tiles and the few remaining ones under the gap look like they could fall off and I was worried they would land on my toes while I was showering. The decor was ok but carpets were stained and damaged. The flat was freezing when we got there but the freestanding heaters worked and made it manageable.

This property was described as 'Luxury'. It was far from luxury, starting with the smell in the communal stairwell, and in the property. The windows were wide open on arrival (November) to try to reduce the smell making it very cold. The bedroom heater did not work. The décor would not be out of place in a student flat. The new kitchen is nice, but there is a reason the photographs focus on this. There were tiles missing in the shower area. The TV didn't work (maybe operator error - but I didn't want to spend my evening trying to tune it in). I paid for two nights but left after 1 to check in to a Premier Inn - which was a much better experience. The flat is not close to the city centre.

Private parking. Quiet. Close to work and gym

Tired decor. Wifi was not great. Smart TV was all but unusable.

Location was good for our requirements and the electric fans were very useful.

As other people have stated, it’s in serious need of updating. The blinds don’t work, missing tiles in the shower/bath, cracked tiles on the bathroom floor which are dangerous and trip hazards. Very very basic and could do with a table and chairs so you can sit down and eat rather than eating on the couch. The crockery and cutlery could do with little expansion and as there was very limited equipment to have a meal. The owner really needs to take on board the comments left by us and the previous people that have stayed there, as unfortunately we won’t be returning there again .
