Location, nice and comfortable

cleanliness.

Lovely apartment, clean and bright. All mod cons. Comfy bed and sofa. Loved the welcome, Bucks Fizz, mince pies very nice. Found some chocolate, yummy.. Could not use the milk so got skimmed. Did use DVD player.

Chain on door did not work.. Television signal was not good so wasn't able to watch much television. A curtain over the door/ window would be more private

We visit relatives on the Isle Of Wight a few times a year and The Custards is the nicest place we have stayed in. It's cosy, well equipped and clean. Conveniently situated, with a supermarket nearby, and for us, near public transport.

It was clean and comfortable, easy to get to the bus station

Very clean. Very well set up. Great location. No parking at the property but parking in the back street was easy and convenient Close to supermarket. Kitchen and washing machine were very convenient.

Stepping into the bath to have a shower was a hazard.

It was in a great safe location within 5 minutes from shops, town, restaurants and theatre. 15 minutes walk to the beach or 5 minutes by car.

Nothing that I can highlight

Great location, easy to reach the seafront and town. Nice and clean and good welcome pack. Generally comfortable with a nice big bathroom, and good communication from host.

Some things need to be mended or replaced such as kitchen cold tap which I could only turn off by holding with 2 hands, a kettle which desperately needed descaling, broken window blind cords and loose curtain fixings, and pillows which were quite flat and not very comfortable. Little things, but important, and reasonable to expect to be up to standard when paying £100 a night. it didn’t ruin our stay, just caused minor frustration.
