The Custards

We enjoyed our stay at the Custard. The accommodation conforms to the description and the location is really ideal because it is next to several bus lines and the train. We appreciated the little touches with the products present upon our arrival. Philip and Charlotte are very responsive and available.

The only things missing would be a little oil and vinegar if possible ?

The bed squeaks every time you move the mattress is passed its sell by date its horrendous the oven and microwave were very dirty the kettle needs descaling all the blinds were dusty and the bathroom shower screen was dirty.

Everything you could wish for

Welcome bottle of wine, biccies etc was very good with welcome message on chalk board! Bed comfy. Very good location - only 2 mins walk to large Co-op and bus station, railway station only 7 mins away and High Street around 5 mins, beach just a short walk. Good collection of guide books/leaflets. Good to get towels, but we weren't expecting them!

Couldn't work out how to get electric hob to work (we could have phoned to check, but it wasn't a major problem). Couldn't get venetian blinds to lower - they went up, but not down! Some properties have a folder with local info in it (e.g. local doctor/hospital), along with instructions for the various appliances in the flat/cottage, and take-away menus etc - this would have been useful to have here!
