Excellent very clean everything there that was needed to relax

The cottage was charming, atmospheric – really great!

I didn’t like the fact that the hot tub wasn’t even filled with water, and it was dirty. You have to pay an extra £40 to have it heated in advance, and they use the starter firewood you’re given, which means if you arrive and the tub is already heated, you’ll need to bring your own wood right away. Unfortunately, the cottage itself wasn’t clean either - the windows were literally covered in cobwebs, as were the walls… it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. 😑

Very clean and roomy. Lovely place to stay. Nice and quiet

14 miles of single track road. I obviously missed that in the notes when booking. The hot tub. Ended up not using it as it would have taken 14 trees and two weeks to heat up. And then it turned out to be just an outside bath.

Nothing to dislike. Lovely peaceful location. Minor criticism would be it could do with a deep clean, quite a few cobwebs (could have happened after it was cleaned) some personal items left under beds and furniture. Mirrors and windows and pictures could do with a clean. Gazebo over hot tub would help prevent forrest debret getting in the hot tub and could then be used all weather (pickieness). Matress really comfy but pillows lumpy (Pesonal thoughts). Very spacious with plenty of utensils, Patio door lock needs attention could be a safety hazard as doesn't always open/lock, key spins several times before eventually working even after following instructions. All in all beautiful cabin beautiful location for a great price and would happily recommend to others.

What an absolute gem of a place! Never been in a more peaceful setting. Has everything you need, location is absolutely fantastic. So rustic and homely, could have stayed there forever.

Got the hot tub going fine but think I added too many logs to begin with as it was roasting hot! Had to wait until the next day to go in - not a fault of the cabin or the owners though.

Stunning cabin, great location for relaxation 😌

The log cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The woodburn fire and hot tub are great features, which really helped us to unwind. I really loved that the decor and interior is authentically a log cabin as so many others we viewed had lost their charm through "greywash". We went lovely woodland walks and along the banks of Loch Awe.
