Drakes Wharf @ Royal William Yard

Location was good, the apartment was clean and nearly everything worked. Free parking is a bonus.

WiFi speed was 2.5 Mbps max. No response after asking for advice on a bathroom radiator issue.

Very modern and nicely decorated. Amazing location and very friendly contact with the staff. Comfortable beds. We would come again!

You can see that some of the (very tasteful) renovations was cheaply done (kitchen, bathroom) so some things are starting to be worn down. It might also be because of the use by many guests, but nothing that was a problem for our stay.

The location & facilities on the site of Drake’s Wharf were stunning!

The parking was tricky! I thought we were guaranteed our own parking space but was told on arrival we could park for free but had to find a space on site in the public car park. It was often extremely busy & after a day out we struggled to get a spot as it was so busy so had to keep driving around hoping to find a space.

The bedroom, the bed is really tiny and not usefull for two adults with normal figures and sizes.

No WiFi, even though I had expressed it was for a business trip and this was one reason I booked apartment. This took a huge effect on my business day as I run a company. Was accommodating before I got there, then when I advised the WiFi was down and needed for work not accommodating at all . I had to keep asking for updates which I got unhelpful responses and lack of communication. Bedroom smelt of cigarettes. The shower wasn't clean . Hair was all over the floor unfortunately I won't come back again . We are all here to run a business, and I would lose customers by the lack of support .
