"Idyllic place for a couple embarking on their first weekend away together!"

Such an amazing little place for a weekend getaway! Perfect for myself and my partner! Saw reviews saying the water in the shower was cold, however we ran it for a little while before using and it was perfect temperature. Bed was comfortable, garden was gorgeous and we were completely left alone the whole time. Short taxi ride/car ride into York centre, unfortunately we didn’t have chance to go for a walk down the riverbank and to the marina but would definitely book again so we could do that!

Nothing we didn’t like! As others have said, the tv was a little small but we were out most of the time anyway or used it for music. Also, a suggestion of maybe purchasing a fan, as it was very warm even with the door open. Other than that, it was perfect!

"Lovely comfortable place to stay"

Comfy bed, nice quiet location near river, very pleasant place to stay

Coffee machine and pods were great, but would be helpful to know what the different colours of the pods represent (decaf, etc)

we liked everything, the place was lovely and more spacious than expected. Really nice hosts who left the light on for us so that we could easily find the keys in the dark.
