The Artists Retreat - Hastings

The accomodation was wonderful, and the living room in particular was absolutely fantastic - with a direct view of the sea. It was the perfect place to return to after long excursions and enjoy a cozy evening.

Really lovely apartment with quality fixtures and very well-located, on the seafront with the central shops on the doorstep and with Hastings Old Town a 10 minute walk away. There was an M&S food a 6 minute walk away, which was really convenient. There were lots of books about Hastings on the bedroom bookshelf, which we thought was a nice touch. The kitchen has everything you need and the soaps and toiletries smell divine. We had excellent food at The Crown and Fagins in the old town, and atmospheric drinks in Dora's near St Leonard's.

Due to the courtyard layout, the back rooms are a little dark, but that's the nature of the building. It is a very comfortable place to explore Hastings.

Beautiful property on crescent with a sea view. Right on the beach absolutely amazing location. The bed was very comfy!

The apartment exceeded our expectations , beautiful period features with lovely sea views, combined with all the mod-cons ( integrated dish washer, spacious fridge, oven and hob, fully stocked with cutlery and glasses, there's even a washing machine and a bit of Netflix in the evening, the whole experience was great my partner and I would fully recommend a stay at the artist retreat, A+++

It is a really lovely space, clean and spacious

Thé wifi is a little temperamental but potential an unavoidable issue, there are wifi boosters in the rooms and even the 4G signal is weak again maybe an unavoidable issue, A tiny tip - it was great having tea, coffee and milk sachets! Would be lovely to hv salt and pepper and a little oil , we were only staying two nights and wouldn’t buy those for that length of time, travelling by train we didn’t pack those things but did want to cook most meals at the property
