The Artists Retreat - Hastings

It had everything I needed and was very charming with a historic feel. I loved the proximity to the seaside and shops for groceries etc.

I would have liked a second sleeping option. I was traveling with my mother and it would have been nice to not have to share a bed or sleep on the couch. I knew that going into it though so this isn’t a bad report. It is such a spacious flat it would be easy to have a pull out sleeper or trundle of some sort.

Location was excellent. Property was beautiful & interesting with period features. Had everything you needed & very quiet for a central location. Easy check in. Would definitely recommend.

Could have done with some more hand towels. Wifi wasn't very good at the front of the property.

Perfectly located with a sea view, the apartment is always very quiet away from the pubs and footfall which we like. Lovely and cool in the extreme heat and a little bit fresh if the clouds appear so it might be worthwhile packing a sweater for the evenings (I think that's because the houses are built in stone rather than brick). The apartment is beautifully designed and decorated in a sympathetic period style which is quite wonderful. The tariff is set at just about the right level and everything ran smoothly. Plenty of white goods equipment for those that need it, just about everything that you could imagine. We're very happy to recommend and hope to be back in the future.

The road directly outside leading up the property is deteriorating so that small stones are scattered about which can made your shoe grip slippery when climbing the crescent, that isn't the fault of the owners though.

Very fresh and clean property, in a great location for exploring the seafront and Old Town. Had a very comfortable stay for a long weekend. Would definitely return if staying in the area again!

Wi Fi could be better

We liked the property very much, it was tastefully decorated with a nice big living room and a big kitchen. The flat was very warm all the time which was good and had very good water pressure in the shower. It was good to have Netflix on tv
