"Would have been perfect apart from lock"

Property was very clean, warm and cosy.

The code lock was very high, almost 6 foot off the ground. With no lightning to be able to see the numbers it was very difficult to open.

This is the best property we’ve stayed at while traveling in the UK. The location is perfect for exploring York’s old town—everything is close by. The property is finished to a high standard: modern, comfortable, and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped, and everything was extremely clean. We would definitely come back.

"Beautiful self-contained apartment in York"

A beautiful and stylish self-contained apartment, very near the bridge to walk into the main historic part of town. Great facilities and very clean while remain homely and comfortable!

The apartment is up a narrow flight of stairs, which wasn't ideal for hauling up a pram. Also, there is a ticking clock on the bedroom wall, but it didn't bother us I thought it might.

Great Location. A lot of thought had gone into make it comfy and welcoming.

Sounds a bit nit-picky, but after staying in a number of different places, I thought the towels should have been bigger and thicker. Effort should be made into finding instructions for the washer/dryer and the hotplates which appeared to have gone missing.

"Great City Centre Apartment."

Good size, well equipped apartment in the centre of York and a near the railway station. I had a couple of questions during my stay and the host was always available, polite and courteous.

Friday and Saturday night can be noisy due to the flat being situated in the city centre, however if you are used to the nightlife of a busy city it should be an issue.

"Wonderful apartment in a great location."

Clear instructions and tips provided by hosts. Spotlessly clean. Everything one needs to feel comfortable and at home immediately. LOCATION, LOCATION!

Having to carry luggage up a spiral Staircase! And it was difficult to key in the number for the front door key lock with was higher up than I could see in the dark, while holding a torch - and then having to turn both handles at once. I wouldn’t have managed on my own.
