Kontokali Lake House

The apartment had everything what we needed. Nothing to complaint about. The view was amazing. Very nice surroundings.

The location, the view, the garden,the rooms and staff - everything was excellent and we were super delighted that we were staying at here. In addition, the place is very quiet and romantic.

Good location with faboulous views over Kontokali Bay from the terrace and balconies.There were all things you need in the apartments, even mosquito repellent device! Good location for traveling as it is in the middle of the island, Kerkyra city 15 min by car.

Not much dinning options nearby, you should go by car or walk a bit. Conditioners quite noisy in the apartments.

I recommend this accommodation for the nice view over the Kontolaki lake. It seems to be a renovated building -at least the room we booked; very well equipped, modern and clean. The host was very nice and they offer free parking as well. The view from our room was breathtaking.

Some things that might be improved in the future: the bathroom door needs some repairing + The cleaning was made only 1 time out of 5 days.

The location of the place was good! We could reach the south and north of the island very easily. It is close to the airport, city centrum and port. The room is decent and has nice views of the lake. The staff was friendly however there is a language barrier because of the lack of English. The room was beautiful and had amazing views. They cleaned the room regularly and gave us fresh towels and bedsheets. The room was fully equipped with all you may need.

Be aware especially the first time you get there, that the streets in the neighbourhood to get to the apartments are very narrow and go in hills. The apartment itself is located at the very bottom of a very steep path, so best to be careful while driving. I also do not recommend going to the nearest beach, the water is disgusting. Our room had a terrible smell which did not fully go away even though we did complain twice.

It's a wonderful location if you are looking for calm, quiet, lovely views and nature, from cats to singing birds. Every apartment features a large terrace overlooking parts of Kontokali Bay and guests have access to the water, although the place is not suitable for swimming. However, a public beach is just five minutes away. Our room was spacious and clean, an Albanian cleaning lady brought new towels and emptied the bins every other day. The small shop Bakaliko next to the tavern (about 1km on foot) is very useful as it's open even on Sundays until 22:30. You can catch buses to Corfu's main attractions (Paleokastritsa, Sidari, Corfu Town) from the bus stop on the main road. We spent a very pleasant few days at Kontolaki Lake House and would be happy to come back again.

Great view and hospitality, I highly recommend. The house is freshly renovated, and the furniture was brand new. And also it's not very crowded in June. The nearest beach is 5 minutes away. 10/10 would visit again.

The location was a little far from the closest buss station to town.

The view from the apartment was terrific! The beach was very closeby and one could also find tavernas around to eat.

Unfortunately on the first day, there was no warm water in the shower, but it got fixed afterwards.
