Little details in the apartment such as cold water and orange juice waiting for us in the fridge as well as biscuits, very thoughtful!

Everything was perfect.

Apartment located next to supermarkets, restaurants and small local markets. Very close to the old city. Very easy and quick contact with the host.

Location was amazing, it is less than 10 minutes away from the Old Town on foot. Two streets away from the building there is a public parking space that is free of charge, which is amazing. Also, nearby there are bakery, pharmacy, supermarket, cake shops, ATMs. Bus stop is right in front of the building! Everything was 15/10! Ante welcomed us like no other host, we had the fridge stocked with milk, coffee and juice, which was beyond sweet and considerate! He also left us cookies on the table 🥰 Tea and Ante were also amazing in a way that they leave you a “guide” translated in 3 languages where they describe in detail how to get around the neighbourhood and Split in general, where to find bakery, pharmacy, bus stop, supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants and more. They handmade a 101 guide for their guests to feel most welcome and comfortable.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Great location, clean place with great facilities for cooking. Very comfortable as well.

I agree with other comments re shower head (but I still had lovely hot showers) slippy rugs (I was fine with them) and the 89 steps up. However I'm 68 years old and managed the steps without any real huffing and puffing and as Croatia is a country of many steps I didn't really expect much less. The apartment is one of the best I have stayed in. Very clean and spacious and everything you could possibly want is there. It really is a home from home. Ante is a brilliant host too and quickly answers any questions you have and finds out any necessary information re buses etc for you. The location is ideal as there is a short cut to the harbour from the top of the market so old town is only about 10 mins away. Bus station is about 5 mins walk up the street as is a good supermarket. Bakery is just a few doors up. For a solo traveller like myself or a couple the apartment is absolutely perfect.

Nothing really. Maybe the little spikes on balcony railing to keep the birds away (caught myself on them the first day) but you quickly get used to them.

Every detail is taken care of to make you feel like home. Small and clean apartment with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen is fully equipped. The owner is very freindly and makes check in super easy. He helped us with parking!

There is a small issue with the boiler and it's a small size, so you could run out of warm water.

Great apartment - very cosy, comfortable, clean and well maintained. I loved the little touches - there were fresh muffins and juice on arrival. The extra sofa cum-bed was pulled out and made. Clear instructions were provided on facilities and tourist spots Ante as a host was approachable and helpful and available on WhatsApp to attend to our queries. Overall we had a great stay.

Its a walk up on the 4th floor so if you have heavy luggage you may struggle.
