The Heart of Palace Apartment

The location is spot on! Couldn’t have picked a better place. The apartment provided everything which is needed. The host was very helpful - meet us before to take us to the apartment, helped with our luggage, settled us in and ensure we had all information needed. Even advised us of some local spots to visit.

The location was very central to the old town being actually in the walls . The apartment was quirky but suited us very well. The host was extremely helpful and even carried our bags up the stairs - and down again at the end of our stay. We had a super time.

The number of stairs to climb to the apartment which was on the third floor.

The location inside the Palace is amazing, the balcony with views across Split and the bell tower are breathtaking especially during sunset. The host was extremely helpful and gave great tips for local restaurants.

The bathroom is small and tricky to use with a low ceiling.

Right in the old part of the city

It was all fantastic

It was a nice cozy apartment. Had all the amenities that we needed. Beds were comfy and nice common area living room and dining room area that met our needs for 5 people. Nice to be able to do laundry and cook a few meals in the apartment.

Wish there was just one more bathroom, but we made it work. Bumped our heads a few times in the shower, but learned quickly not to move too far in! :)

Convenient to the palace

Cheaply done apartment in dirty area (granted, Split is generally the least clean city/town we have visited (Dubrovnik, Zadar, and Opatija were all far nicer/cleaner). A downstairs neighbor's welcome mat had dog poop on it during our entire stay, so we had to avoid it every day. Some of the issues are due to the location itself, but a lot of it is the quality of the apartment and furnishings, which were not great. You're paying for the location, but it was not worth it.
