The Heart of Palace Apartment

Very original accomodation. Made us feel at home. It is very spacious, and the balcony is lovely. The location of the apartment is superb!

Maybe a slightly bigger bathroom… but was not a problem really…

Location location location! You can not beat the location!

The bathroom is quite small but it’s worth it because you are in the palace and in a historical building!

Amazing location within the walls of Diocletian's Palace. Hosts were exceptionally helpful and the interior is as beautiful as it looks on the website.

Balcony was very small - not big enough for 4 people - but we knew that in advance from the pics. Poor lighting on the stairway to get to the top floor. Thankfully for host kindly helped us with our suitcases!

The property was amazing! I didn’t realize when I booked that it was located within a Roman palace. Had a great view and was a very comfortable stay for 5 of us. The host was amazing and sweet and showed us some great local spots to visit. She recommended some Croatian food that was phenomenal. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and I hope to come back some day!

Nothing! Some may find the stairs hard to climb, it’s on the top floor of the palace walls, no elevator but the views are fantastic.

The apartment's host graciously escorted us from the taxi to the apartment, taking the time to thoroughly address all of our inquiries with meticulous attention to detail. Giving us tips for the best locations and restaurants Split has to offer. Our stay at the Heart of Palace Apartment was truly unforgettable, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and excitement in the heart of Split. From the captivating beauty of Diocletian's Palace to the breathtaking vistas of Krka National Park and the adrenaline of the Marathon Split 2024, every moment was filled with adventure and discovery. This apartment provides the ideal retreat for exploring all that Split has to offer. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to experience the magic of Croatia in style. Perched amidst the labyrinthine streets of Diocletian's Palace, the apartment enjoys a privileged position at the heart of Split's historic center. From here, guests can easily explore the city's vibrant squares, bustling markets, and ancient monuments, soaking in the rich tapestry of Split's cultural heritage.
