Villa Maria

The location was perfect. The apartment was really nice and had everything we needed. The host was kind and helped us really good one day when our electricity went out. It is really close to the village stobrec, which has good places to eat and have some drinks. It has a nice pool and some cute cats too!

Everything was amazing, so I have nothing to say anything negative about this place. There was just one small thing, there were not enough pool beds at the pool sometimes. But most of the time my friend and I went there early and when it became a little bit bussier we just went to the beach!

Everything was superb! We couldn't have asked for better. The apartment was great. It was clean and well equipped, lots of space inside and outside. The hosts are exceptionally accommodating, friendly and helpful. The private boat trip with Dario was definitely a highlight and such a good experience. We would highly recommend the apartment and the hosts.. Wonderful family holiday here.

There was nothing to dislike. It was all fabulous.

We really loved the apartment. The owners thought about everything and had alot of extra’s in the apartment. It’s nearby a beach which was not so crowded when we went! We asked if we could check-out one hour later and it was no problem (guests after us would arrive later), so that was very nice of them!

The house is beautiful. It’s calm, relaxing, and quiet. The rooms were large enough, and I loved the fact we had two terraces, one for breakfast and the other more suitable for dinner. We also loved the pool area, which is beautiful, with so many fruit trees. It’s also very clean. The location is great, a bus stop is nearby to easily go to Split. Near the house are beaches, shops, restaurants. Loved it! Finally we loved Dario, he is so nice and welcoming. We loved the sunset boat tour with him. We overall had a great time!! Thanks Dario!!

There is only one air conditioner in the living room, but not in the bedroom. That resulted in us spending the first two nights being way too hot in the bedroom, because the fresh air couldn’t reach the bedroom easily.

Beautiful apartments in idyllic gardens. Could walk to the beach, catch a bus along the coast or swim in the pool. Mario, Dario and their family couldn't have been kinder helping us get basic shopping and even bringing a freshly baked cake for us to enjoy by the pool. Nothing was too much effort for our hosts, they just wanted us to have a lovely holiday. A highlight of the trip was the boat ride to brac. Dario took all of my family in his boat and they loved the entire day especially jumping off his boat and snorkelling. We will definitely return!

Gabriela was a great host, very kind and available. The apartment is big and has everything we needed. Everything was super clean and it smelled amazing! There’s parking, which is what we needed.

Location is not close to anything, a 15min walking distance to the nearest grocery store. But it wasn’t a big problem for us as we had a car! Walls are paper thin, we could hear the other guests (who stayed up late) and the bed makes a lot of noise.

We enjoyed everything: lighted garden and swimming pool in the evening, coffee from a coffee machine in the morning, comfortable bed, tidy appartament, private corner in the garden among lemon and tangerine trees for smoking. All pieces of equipment and utensils worked properly. What’s more, the personality of the host- he is a very open-minded, friendly and respectfull person. Also he has a boat, so can organize you a trip according to your preferences, interests and fitness. Enjoyed the trip very much. My suggestion: always follow the advice given by host, if he says to use mosquito candles, use them 😅 If the host offers to visit a certain place for having dinner, visit, and you will get the best food for the best price in the area. We really enjoyed our long dinner at konoba “Bava”.

This villa is such a hidden gem. It’s slightly out of the main village but actually that gives it the peace and tranquility you wouldn’t get if you were in the centre. Loved the pomegranate trees, kiwi fruits over the terrace and the lime trees by the paths. We had a boat trip with Dario to Brač which was excellent. Hosts were great at communication and sorted anything we needed really quickly.

It was all lovely. It’s not luxurious but they’re not pretending to be that. It’s super homely and welcoming.
