Villa Maria

Magical little place, we lovely our time. so much more than we could have hoped. Big spacious place, Beautiful little spot with a great swimming pool.

The quietness was nice ,Gabi who was so helpful to us even picked us up from our previous apartment.I wasn't well one day and she offered to take me to the doctor's. Her lovely mum brought us some melon when we was around the pool

15 min walk to centre a little to far when it's 36 degree heat.Great if you have a car

The room was well equipped, and very clean. The hosts are very friendly, attentive and informative.

The shower head has no bracket attached so you need to hold it when taking a shower, a bit annoying for someone has super long hair but that is the only negative thing! Everything else was perfect.

The family couldn't have been nicer. Great amenity with the pool, nearly like having a private pool. Short distance walk to the nearby area of Strobec which had bars, restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacy which was perfect. We really enjoyed our time in Villa Maria.

Bedroom was very warm in the night time.

I would 100% recommend staying here. The property was lovely, and the hosts were amazing with brilliant local recommendations. We would definitely recommend the boat trip with dario it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Would definitely stay again.

We had a nice week at this beautiful place! Excellent location to explore Split area by car. We did few hour sunset boat trip with Dario, which was excellent! Would highly recommend!

Pool was lovely and the 2 times we used it we had it to ourselves. Owners mum was lovely and helpful but didn't meet owner. Toiletries and robes were a nice touch.

Issue with WiFi kept going off which was not good especially when trying to use Uber app for the airport. Feel it was dated and needed refurbishing or maybe new bedding, less cushions, less niknaks, maybe a neutral throw over the sofa so can be washed in between guests. Unfortunate that no one there when we left and as hadn't had internet couldn't message with what to do with the key. Had stayed in apartments in Trogir and Hvar prior and so comparing it to them.

Dario and all of his family were so welcoming, they arranged transfers to and from airport, also Gabrijela took us to Krka national park and waited until we had finished to take us back. The pool was lovely and very refreshing after a day in the sun, took the bus into Split which took 15mins, beautiful City, Strobec has some lovely beaches and good restaurants. Villa Maria is a perfect place to get away and chill would definitely recommend 👌

Busy main road but we got used to it after a few times of crossing it, use the pelican crossing!
