Florence Downtown Apartments

I like the apartment location because the metro station is under the apartments!

I like everything!

Location is very good, public transport is nearby, no car needed.

It’s not clean, there is a noticeable smell from the drains and the bed is uncomfortable.

We had a brilliant stay at Florence Downtown. The check in information we received prior to date of arrival was easy to follow and we had no problems getting in. The apartment was spotless and so spacious. We walked the whole trip as we didn't want to miss anything but the tram stops was on the same street if you require transport.

This accommodation was the most awful and dirty one I have ever stayed in. Since we entered the room we observed that there is so much dirt that it seemed that nobody vacuumed there for a long period of time (not only after the previous tourists). Even though it was a really small room, as there was no space to open a suitcase on the floor, it was impossible for the proprietary to clean it up. The bathroom had a horrible smell, like from the drain and we hoped that if we kept the ventilation on for the hole period of time of our staying it would go away, but it did not. They wanted to be “welcoming” by putting in a cup a 2-in-1 instant coffee sachets, which were sadly expired since last year, I guess they had not cleaned that room since then and had not had the opportunity to change them. And it was not a simple mistake, some other friends with other apartments received expired coffee too. After climbing some stairs you could get to the bed, which was really uncomfortable and even the smallest movement made the bed squeak. The problem was that on that level the power outlets were not functioning, we do not know why, we were not informed. But somehow on our third day of staying they started to work. We also had a TV, but we did not initially find the remote control, but we were not even surprised at that point so we just let it go. At the end of our staying we found it, it was between the bed sheets and the mattress, I guess the housekeeper was just too lazy to move it when she made the bed. The cherry on top was the moment we found a pair of used panties (!!!!!) from the previous tourists between the bed and the wall, along with ANOTHER remote control. So, instead of begging for a good review in return of a 10% percent discount on our next stay, I strongly encourage the proprietary to do something about the horrible conditions in terms of cleaning. I cannot stress enough how much dust and dirt there was on the floor and not only.

Host responded fast and check in was easy.

Dirty place, moldy tea bags, you could hear everything through the walls all around and corridor, uncomfortable bed, really steep stairs.
