Bumbung Bungalows

This was a base for us doing our diving course so we spent little time here. Bed was comfy and mosquito net was great. Nice big bathroom and a lovely terrace to sit out on but we didn't really get the chance. Also the girl working on the property was very friendly!

The smell from the kitchen was terrible and by the end of the two nights it was in the room too. We didn't want to cook in it.

We had a very good stay, and what made it even better is the host. Always available and willing to help. It was clean, comfortable, a good size and great location. Thank you for everything!

Location is good. Many eating places with local and western food nearby. Two supermarkets nearby. The beach is a five minute stroll, with many choices to sit for evening drink or meal. No high pressure hawkers. Not crowded. The accommodation has a small kitchen with fridge, stove, sink etc which is a nice add on. Feels like a safe area. The building itself appears to be fairly new. It is clean, airy and spacious. The air conditioner works well. Happily, there were few mosquitoes or other insects (Aug).

There is construction work going on alongside the accommodation and although the individual apartments are set in a garden there is, as yet, no real garden to speak of. I'm sure, in time plants, pots etc will be added. This can't be helped but it was the only "complaint" I have.

The host and his family were incredibly kind. The location is perfect, right in the center of Amed. Having a kitchen was a bonus. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. I would definitely go back again!

Very nice bungalow. There is lots of space, especially bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen is a bit tiny but have all the essential tools for cooking. The patio is amazing, especially the beanbags 😎, with lots of privacy. The host very helpful and always available for any question. I would definitely go back again!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our week-long stay. We were so comfy there that we could’ve easily stayed longer. We loved being able to make simple meals in the kitchen and lounge on our patio. There are just three bungalows currently, so it felt pretty private. The bungalow was clean, functional and spacious. The air con worked really well. The host was also cool and attentive. He got our laundry taken care of for a good price and communicated well with us. Cleaning is done every few days. The location was pretty good, two minutes to the beach and nearby lots of cafes and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

The roosters start super early morning and it’s quite loud sometimes. You can hear many animals from around the area. There is some construction happening on the property, but it wasn’t a big deal for us because we were in the farthest bungalow and it wasn’t too loud.
