Bumbung Bungalows

This place is a real gem! It’s tucked away from the road so it’s very quiet, even though it’s in the middle of Amed. Each bungalow has a lot of space between so it’s very private. The kitchen inside had everything we needed and everything was clean. The Wi-Fi worked great for working remotely. We wanted to stay longer but it was already booked.

The host tried to help us arrange ferry tickets but he was misleading and told us we had to get return tickets to Bali and it’s not possible to go from Gili to a Nusa Pendida - this is not true. We don’t mind paying extra when a host arranges things but we felt mislead and therefore didn’t book tickets through him.

Very good location, excellent price/quality ratio. The host is very friendly.

Beware the roosters nearby, they begin to shout at 3 a.m. It ruins the otherwise quiet place. Also, wi-fi is a bit slow and sometimes has connectin problems. These problems are endemic to Amed, though. There is no electric kettle in the kitchen.

For snorkeling in Amed it takes about 13 minutes by walking from Bumbung Bungalows, the main road Jl. I Ketut Natih in Amed is under repair, so difficult in walking.

Had a great time at Bumbung bungalow!! Really nice and quiet, and really good for the price! There s even a small kitchen! I ll be coming back there for my next stay in amed!
