Minster's Keep- Near York Minster & Free Parking

Superb location, great to be have parking at the apartment and it being secure. Plenty of room in the apartment.

Internet coverage was very poor. No instructions received on how to access the property before our visit, so had to call to get the details, gate key code, location of key box and even what apartment number as we as we received no email with any information. Also we received a message on booking.com on the day we were leaving to say we would soon be visiting! Perhaps need to review how thee details are sent in a timely manner

Great location and lovely apartment. Spacious and perfectly suited for 4 people. Great to be able to see the Minster. Really good communication. Rebooked for next year.

No negatives, fabulous place.

No breakfast provided. Sent message to Management Company, but no t much of a reply, Heating not working in part of properly, and parts not hoovered. Some areas not very clean.

Booked for a 4 nigt stay for my 75th Birthday and a Break for my Wife who has MND it cost £797, it had a lift but accsess is a rear gate with code then to a lock box another code then a key to the rear door up a flight of stairs then down stairs to the Lift to go upstairs how Daft. Owners were told my Wife has MND and cannot go down stairs yet we had to use stairs and key codes to get keys . We had No Hot Water and No TV Signal we had 2 maintenance people come out 1 Hot Water/Heating in the Mornig and TV man inthe afternoon Both said that the problems had been faulty for a long time TV never had signal as conecting cable was missing,they did get Tv in Lounge working and Hot Water etc but after we were told stay in for the workers or leave Key in the Box so they wanted us to waste a day staying in or use the Stairs 4 Times going out and coming in twice ,as my Wife could not use the Stairs we had to stay in and waste a Day. Property was in poor condition and dirty carpets and dirty inside bathroom Doors etc Apartment was very basic No Tea/Coffee /sugar /milk which is what you would usualy get in a Luxury £195 per night THIS IS NOT LUXURY .The Apartment does not seem to have been given regular Maintenance and cleang standard never checked.All we were offered was 5% discount on an apartment booked direct through them ,we should atleast been refunded 1 Day rental Cost. All we can say is Stay Away there are many other Apartments in the Centre to book We do not like doing Negative Reviews but this Apartment is so POOR we had to give our Honest Opinion

Great location, spacious

Some areas of the accommodation felt a bit tatty and unloved. Also no welcome package, eg milk/wine/chocolates. Often Airbnb properties have welcome items, but nothing in this property. The location was great but it felt a bit cold and unwelcoming.

Location perfect, the flat layout is spacious. Hand wash in bathrooms would have been nice, and a pint of milk ready for a hot drink would have been a nice touch on arrival.

WiFi weak which was slightly annoying. The bed in the room with the en-suite, was uncomfortable, every time one moves, it creeks, and the bed frame wobbles, we ended up moving mattress into lounge. If you like fresh air through the night, you can open the windows slightly, but it’s worth mentioning you do have a lively pub across the road, and through into early morning, you hear deliveries being unloaded by lorry’s. But you are very central and right in the mix of everything, so it’s to be expected. Location great.
