Minster's Keep- Near York Minster & Free Parking

Fantastic location, spacious apartment. We would highly recommend. Definitely going back.

Someone had parked in our allotted space so we didn’t know where else to park, a neighbour came out and told us someone had gone on holiday so we could park in their space.

Fabulous central location with parking. Very clean and spacious. I wish we’d discovered this place 3 years ago when our son started at the university, only booked for his graduation weekend! We’re a family of 5 and it was lovely.

The location is very central, convenient for finding food and strolling around the city. At the same time, there is no noise disturbance at night because there are not many pubs in the area. The room is spacious, well-organized, looks new, and has free parking. There are many books on the shelves, which children enjoy reading.

It was not as clean as it should be, especially the kitchen appliances like the kettle and oven, making us hesitant to use them. There were crumbs and litters under the sofa. The code for the back door at the garage was not provided initially; we were told to use a key, which didn't work. It took over half an hour to resolve the issue with the property manager. Calling the number on booking.com yielded no response, so we had to solve it ourselves by running around to the front door in the rain and using the key access front door entrance to open the back door from inside. We booked through booking.com and paid for six people (4 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 9), but there were only beds and towels prepared for four. We informed the property immediately, but they couldn't help and just apologized, resulting in the two children having to sleep on the sofa, which was too short for the older child for both nights.

It's an amazing apartment in a central location right near the shambles and York minister. You can literally see it out of the window!. It had everything that we needed and was so clean.

The flat was beautiful, clean and well-maintained. It has everything you need. The beds were comfortable and cosy. The location was excellent.

There was nothing we did not like about it.

The apartment was lovely and spacious and is very central to everything in York. However if you are very tall, take care when entering the living room as there is a low mantle which you could bang your head on , that being said my hubby is 6'6" sonhw is the exception. Even though it's a stones throw from the Minster you can't hear the bells so a good sleep was definitely had.

No Oven gloves and no instructions for operating the oven / hob. There were also only three tumblers so when all four of us wanted a gin and tonic we had to use a wine glass and when we wanted to take water to bed we had to wash and reuse the glasses. All in all it was a lovely place and I would book again.
