Really quick responses from host! The flat was well decorated and presented and was very clean, stocked with the day to day bits you would need (tea, coffee, cleaning supplies and toiletries) The location was SUPERB. A slightly longer walk to the train station (only twenty minutes, if that) but in a five minute walk of anywhere else you’d need to be in York. The property was as described so there was no surprises, and the photos show the flat well but don’t quite do it justice as you get a lovely view of the rooftops around the shambles.

The sofa bed could have been less squeaky and we both seemed to end up in the middle, but not a major issue. The flat is also up a small flight of stairs and then two more full flights, so something to consider if step access could be an issue for you.
