Bootham House Apartment-Close to The Minster

Location was perfect, size of apartment was just what we needed. Easy entry system, free parking. Even though it was by the road it was reasonably quiet and the secondary glazing helped to cut out the noise.

Because we had to close the windows it would have been handy to have Aircon, not a complaint because fans are provided. A suggestion to look into maybe.

The property is like a greenhouse with no air-conditioning so do not book when there is a heatwave or in the hottest months. Windows don’t stay open and keep closing, they are sliding vertically. Shelves are missing front the fridge on the inside of the door.

Luxurious accommodation in a perfect location to discover York. Loved the 2 bathrooms and view of York Minster. Bedding, towels and presentation were pristine. Would recommend in winter or cooler weather.

Too hot in apartment. Not even hot outside, would dread to think how hot it would feel over 20 degrees and beyond. Late check in of 4pm was frustrating, luckily found drop off luggage service nearby.

Great location with few minutes walk to city centre, the room is very clean and well setup with all the things we need as a family. Two bedrooms two bathrooms. Parking is right on the other side of the road. The staff responded quickly to our needs, but please be reminded that their office closes at around 5.00-5.30pm but the staff are approachable by phone. The apartment door/entrance is right under the sign named Bootham House hanging on the wall.

Perfect location. The apartment contained everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable.

Sofa was basically unusable. It felt as though you were being dumped in the floor. Soo many pillows in the guest room that there was no place for luggage after preparing the bed for sleep. Absolutely zero ventilation in the baths.

The proximity to the city centre and all the attractions.

The settee was a little uncomfortable and the en suite shower floor was very slippery. The door handle to the apartment was loose, the square surround kept coming off. The lift did play up on one occasion, it seemed to stop between floors when my partner was inside.

Lovely, comfortable apartment in an excellent location. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Free parking very close by.
