Micklegate Residence

Absolutely gorgeous, spacious and bright apartment! Perfect location and having the car parking space was a bonus.

The old architecture is lovely. The rooms being in the back, away from the street allowed for quiet at night. Most things were clean and well appointed. It is a very charming space in a good location for walking the city.

The beds were pretty hard and could use a nice topper to help guests sleep better. The bathroom doors do not shut well, therefore could not be locked. The couch needs a good cleaning. The street is quite busy in the summer season and there is a night club across the street, so it can be very loud in the living room.

Location excellent.

Plug in sink in ensuite did not hold the water. Consequently had a shower each morning and as water is very scarce at the moment it would be good if they fixed that.

Great location, well renovated old property. Very clean, good facilities, excellent living space. Additional offer of parking big bonus.

Some very low beams with no warning signs. We’d have liked to be told the make of coffee machine in advance to bring pods.

It is such a historic property, but so comfortable at the same time. Very light and well kicked out.

Poly cotton sheets… I know they are practical, but I really prefer cotton sheets, especially in the summer.
