Eleven Popeshead - 2 bed, 2 bath central apartment

The apartment was in the centre of York, so it was great for being close to everything.

The alley to get to the apartment wasn't very nice and at night could sometimes hear people outside. There is a bigger street on the other side but still not great late at night.

The apartment was a good size and had a well equipped kitchen.

The alleyway location and the fact there was a fire escape right outside the bedroom, so we were unable to sleep with the windows open as it didn't feel safe

Keys were not in the key box. Couldn't get into the flat 3-4pm as agreed due the this. By the time we got in at 4 45 had to rearrange meeting friends till later. Ripped pillow case on the double bed and other bedroom needs the window sill painted

The sofa bed was ripped and had no bed linen. Curtains in bedroom hanging off

Lovely apartment amazing location

Location was excellent, with a great little cafe a few metres away for a great breakfast, and being so central, a very short walk to everything. Instructions for checking in provided in detail and easy to follow. Good sized apartment catered really well for a family of four (2 adult sons) and would probably cater well for a longer stay even though we were only there for 5 nights.

Some of the fittings need maintenance/better cleaning. Showers were a little challenging, loose light fittings. Nothing that caused us too much concern, but we did take note in case we were held responsible.

Easy to find good central location. We were a group of friends that haven't been away together before so I wanted to make sure we all had our own space. Also I have recently had a hip replacement so didn't want too much walking. Comfortable and clean apartment with lots of room. Also an amazing cafe right outside the door.

One of my friends said the sofa bed wasn't so comfortable.
