Eleven Popeshead - 2 bed, 2 bath central apartment

The location was great with walking distance from every attraction. The flat was spotless and equipped with all the necessities. Communication was easy. Instructions were simple and clear. However, I didn’t know that I have to pay deposit to get the instructions to enter the flat.

En-suite was a little tired and needs a bit of tlc for the shower and grouting; main bathroom was excellent though Sofa not overly comfortable

Apartment was nice and clean. Location excellent

1. Apartment was on second floor but lift was out of service 2. Noise from the street was like someone shouting in your flat during the night 3. Neighbour from the flat upstairs were loud.

The property's location was ideal. It is very close to many restaurants, pubs, and sights that are amazing for experiencing the history of York.

The fridge has issues staying cold, so you might risk losing groceries if you place them in it. The beds don't come with fitted sheets, so they may fall off the bed in the night. The internet is also extremely slow and isn't a reliable connection.

The location was perfect for visiting central York and exploring, and the property was clean and well-maintained. There was a lot of space, which is helpful for a small family to have the bedrooms and sitting areas.

We booked because there was a lift, and even the entry instructions indicated that it was available for use. Upon arrival and during our stay, however, it was broken. With an elderly mum who could not do stairs, walking up two flights with suitcases was not good. A note in advance would have been appreciated.

Very spacious, well appointed and centrally located. Lots of natural light and all amenities you'd expect in an apartment.

Ensuite shower head could do with replacement as a bit leaky. Some mold growth in bathrooms.
