Eleven Popeshead - 2 bed, 2 bath central apartment

the location was fantastic

the fridge didn't work and my food spoilt the double bed was extremely uncomfortable due to the base was completely non supportive the shower head was broke and en-suite in very tired condition

Beds were very soft, shower wasn't very powerful, communal area a bit dirty leading up to apartment

Fantastic location in the heart of everything. Central heating and underfloor heating was great and welcoming, and it was a very spacious apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the parking great. We loved it on 1st sight but was let down with the appliances not working properly.

First try of the main bathroom the sink did not drain away, bath was blocked too, we reported this but it took until fourth day for then to send a plumber, we missed the door call when he came on our last day (ok that was out fault) but it seemed pointless to sort by then as we were checking out the next morning and has not been able to use that bathroom all week. Luckily, we had the ensuite bathroom we could share instead. The tv didn't work well, went blank for a while, every time we turned channels. The fridge didn't work properly either, as nothing was cold, and our milk went off. With these appliances working, it would of been an excellent review, so it a shame. But we managed and loved our stay there.

Property lovely and central, easy walking distance for all the attractions. Nicer than a hotel room for our group of 4. Plenty of space and very quiet when in apartment.

Apartment Lift broken during stay. Apartment on 2nd floor so a bit of lugging the cases up 2 flights of stairs. Fridge didn’t work. Double bedroom door handle loose. Both bathroom door handles stiff and noisy. Some of the window blind panels missing but in the corridor so not an issue. On suite shower head broken. Main Bathroom sink blocking up.

Location was fantastic in the center of York. All shops and tourist attractions are walkable. The Apartment is good in size and it has 2 bathrooms which was perfect for us.

one thing that bothered us that the hallway bathroom sink was blocked and fills up very quickly

I felt the communal areas could be a lot cleaner...
