"Great location, clean and quirky."

Great location, easy walking distance to main attractions in York and the train station. Private parking. Really Quirky layout of apartment, very spacious, Nice and clean throughout, huge bath, seperate toilet, comfy beds and sofas. Really helpful staff member from letting agency who sorted out a facilities issue for us. Would recommend La Vecchia Scuola Italian restaurant which is nearby lovely food and service. If you are going this side of Christmas defo recommend pre booking anything/everything.

Quite busy main road - take earplugs for sleeping. Quite steep stairs to access apartment.

"Excellent city location, lovely apartment"

Lovely apartment - clean, spacious, airy and, perfectly equipped for the 3 of us. Such a good central location, a minute or two's walk to the city walls, York art gallery, York Minster and many lovely places to eat and drink. The hosts were really responsive any time I asked a question. The joining instructions were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended, would stay again.

The apartment is on a fairly busy road so there is some traffic noise, bikes, sirens etc overnight. To be expected really with it being so close to the city centre. Nothing a good pair of ear plugs doesn't sort out so don't let that put you off booking!

"Excellent"

The property was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Plus, it is very conveniently located near the city of York and the city wall - 10 minutes walking distance. The floor plan is a little quirky but totally workable. Great communication with the host. The photos provide a very accurate idea re the properties layout.

The internet is very slow and could do with improvement. Plus, the front bedroom gets a bit of road, etc noise so I recommend ear plugs if noise bothers you at night.

Location was fantastic. Easy walking distance from the train station and super close to all the main tourist bits.

Not a thing I didn’t like, but worth pointing out that being located on Gillygate means that street noise can be a thing.

Quirky and roomy, the dressing table, the dining area, the ease of access to everywhere York central, secure parking.

Main bathroom didn’t have a toilet (although apartment did have separate toilet!) no electric razor/toothbrush charging point, not enough kitchen items, WiFi poor
