Portland Street with Free Parking

Great little flat right in the middle of the city. Just 2 minutes down the road and we were in the city. Comes with a private, off road parking space that is visible from the property so very secure. Comfy sofa and beds makes it very homely and the cosy little dining area is great for when we didn't feel like going out to eat. The bathtub is huge and great for kids to splash about in.

The door locks were a little "finicky" to use, but once you get used to them they're fine. My daughter wasn't a fan of the boiler being above the toilet, but it didn't cause us any major issues.

Amazing little gem. Lovely clean apartment only a 2 minute walk from the Minster. The staff were fabulous, and they responded and fixed a minor issue the very next morning after we reported it at 5 pm. A surprisingly roomy apartment. Excellent lighting from the multitude of windows. The bed was super comfy. Definitely one to add to our list of places to stay in York.

The apartment is in an excellent location with a dedicated parking spot. This is the third time we've stayed as it's a lovely, clean apartment and is very close to the centre. It has everything we need and is a nice, cosy (not small) place to go back to after a full day of exploring. We also cannot fault the quick response from York Boutique Lets if an issue arises and their proactive approach to suggestions. Can't wait to go back for another visit!

Nothing. There were a couple of minor issues we found when we arrived but they were dealt with very quickly. We understand things happen/break so it definitely wasn't a big deal. We did have a problem with the tvs which was looked into on the day we reported it and was fixed but then returned. On further investigation by the agents it was discovered the aerial had gone missing! We were happy enough as we had access to YouTube and Netflix but were out most of the time anyway. No negatives at all!

The property is a classic beauty with space, convenience and charm. We were met by the charming host and shown around. I loved watching the view change over day and night.

Nothing. The stairs you are warned about and my cousin managed in a moon boot.

Poor wifi and only catch up TV. Could not watch live TV channels

The property was spotless. It has a charming, quirky layout. The rooms were spacious. It was only 5 mins walk from the minster. The kitchen lacked nothing.

The street was noisy but that’s to be expected when you’re so close to the centre so take ear plugs then you’ll sleep soundly. USB plugs would be great (I know it’s a luxury).
