The location was amazing, the apartment was absolutely great. parking off road and secured.

Parking - I did however forget to put the parking ticket/pass in the window for 24 hours (I was there for 18 days) and this resulted in a 60 pounds fine which I had to pay after returning to Saudi. Surely in this day and age the cars should be registered automatically rather than remembering to put the paper disc back in the window on re-entering.

The location was perfect, apartment was clean with modern decor. Collecting keys was easy and quick. Car park was secure and handy. Lovely hamper on arrival. Would return.

The apartment would benefit from more bins in toilet and bedroom. Also black out curtains or blinds in the living area are really needed, especially if someone is using the sofa bed. The living/kitchen area was also boiling hot due to the amount of sun that the thin, white voils were letting in, which was unbearable at times. I’ve seen these things mentioned before in other comments so they really need addressing. Also the tv/ BT box didn’t work throughout out stay, which needs sorting. Storage in bathroom is also needed.

This is an excellent apartment a short walk from centre of York. It is spotlessly clean and has an allocated parking space. On any normal weekend I would have rated it 10 out of 10. We visited with our granddaughter.

When we visited it was during a heatwave. The main room in this apartment has sheet glazing floor to ceiling on two side which catch the afternoon and evening sun. When we arrived the temperature in the room was 40 degrees! Only one window opened and there were no fans so it was impossible to cool the room down. Even that night it was impossible to sleep with the heat still in mid 30's. To pass the night we watched the Police pulling a suicide out of the River Foss right under our apartment window. The following day (Saturday) I tried to call Stays York but no reply so I left a voicemail. As the apartment heated up it again became unbearable so we cut short our holiday, packed up, and went home. No reply to our voicemail has been received from Stay York.
