Das Engagement des Hosts, dass wir auch ja so viel wie möglich die Auroras sehen und sonst noch was das städtchen zu bieten hatte. Er war auf Nachfragen immer da und sehr hilfsbereit und angenehm. Sehe empfehlenswert.

L’allotjament és molt petit però perfectament equipat. Trobareu inclús un esmorzar per al primer dia. L’entorn està molt bé, de seguida trobes bosc per sortir a caminar i absoluta foscor. Volem destacar que en Petteri és un amfritrió extraordinari!!! Molt amable, sempre atent a qualsevol necessitat o problema que puguis tenir i sempre disposat a donar un cop de mà.

The best stay in all Lapland! The apartment is extremely well located, comfortable, and well appointed. Petteri the host is knowledgeable on the area, can be your tour guide for many activities, and is very helpful and proactive with helping find auroras!! This is a traditional Bed and Breakfast and in all the best ways. The listing pictures on booking.com dont do the property justice, what you get is better than the listing will suggest. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 7, and while it was cosy, the apartment was big enough to cater for our needs. Petteri gave us directions to (and also took me to) all the best aurora spots both near and far. We are extremely happy with our stay and highly recommend!!

Wir haben das Apartment unter anderem auch aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen gebucht und können wirklich alles Positive bestätigen! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und hatte für uns die perfekte Lage am Rand von Ivalo. Gleich hinter dem Apartment befindet sich ein großer Wald, wo man sehr gut spazieren und auch einen im Winter zugefrorenen See erreichen kann. Allgemein ein perfekter Ort, wenn man z.B. gerne in der Natur Ausschau nach den Polarlichtern halten will, aber auch noch das Zentrum von Ivalo zu Fuß in 30 Minuten erreichen kann. Hervorzuheben ist der nette Gastgeber Petteri, der unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht hat. Bereits im Voraus haben wir über seine Webseite sämtliche Ausflüge gebucht (Huskytour, Schneemobiltour, Rentierfarm, Abendessen) die wirklich alle eine 10/10 waren - sehr zu empfehlen! Zudem hat er uns immer über die Polarlichter informiert, wodurch wir diese mehrmals sehen konnten, hat uns viel über die regionale Kultue erklärt und uns auch von der Sauna abgeholt, die wir woanders gebucht hatten. Durch Petteris aufmerksame Art war alles perfekt organisiert. Man hat in jeder Situation gespürt, dass Petteri seine Arbeit mit großer Freude und von ganzem Herzen macht. Für uns war der Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft ein einmaliges Erlebnis und ist nur zu empfehlen!

We stayed in Neitamo44 for prolonged weekend. The accommodation was super neat, clean and comfortable. It was well equipped with all the necessities, even with breakfast ingredients that included some  tasty savoury treats. Our host was nice and helpfull, truly a superhost. At winter times he can offer some great winter experiences which I hope we get to experience next time. Now we were too busy socialising with my family, after which we really enjoyed the peace, privacy and comfort of Neitamo44. Thank you Petteri!

Petteri (the host) is the kindest and the most gracious host we've ever had the pleasure to be hosted by. This goes beyond his professionalism, each day we stayed there Petteri made sure that we are getting the best experiences possible with his tips and recommendations, we asked about local Finnish cuisine (planning on getting it later in the city) and Petteri just knocked on our door and gave us some Karelian pies he got on the way home later that day. It's the little stuff he did that proved to me that we are more than just business customers to him, but genuine guests and friends. We've never hesitated to ask any questions and we always received an honest and whole-hearted answer. The apartment itself contains everything you'll need for a stay in Ivalo, there is a 30 minute walk to the center of Ivalo, and a 1 minute walk to a nearby dreamy forest and lake behind the apartment. We spent whole evenings just walking around and exploring the nearby wilderness. If the sky is clear, and there is Aurora activity in the region, it is visible from the backyard! There is no light pollution, we just stepped outside and enjoyed the lightshow! The other experiences Petteri offered to us during the stay were perfect 10/10 too! We hoped for a perfect trip and in the end got even more than that. Can't wait to visit again <3

We had a wonderful stay in Ivalo. The accommodation was very tidy and most importantly cozy. But we particularly liked the beautiful view of the stars and the aurora borealis, which we were able to admire directly from the accommodation. The owner of the accommodation gave us a wonderful insight into the surroundings and culture of Finland. We also had very interesting and nice conversations with Petteri every day, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of our highlights was definitely that Petteri and his dog went with us on aurora hunting to the nearby lake. The activities were fantastic too, as he organised everything from the husky tour to snowmobiling. So we enjoyed every second there and can only recommend the accommodation! In summary, Petteri is the perfect host, he takes care of all your well-being and makes your holiday the best! Thanks for everything!!!

Excellent pretty and quiet location at the beginning of the forest. Well equipped apartment with a comfortable bed. Easy to walk into town for restaurants or supermarket. Easy to go for a walk into nature. Ideal location for aurora hunting. The Northern lights can be seen from the garden or from two locations at walking distance, one of them a large frozen lake. The owner monitors aurora activity and thanks to him we saw the strongest one (see pictures). If the local weather conditions are not good the owner can drive you to known more clear areas. The owner picks you up from the airport. He can organize all kind of activities. Things like a snowmobile ride with a sleigh, husky sleigh riding, visit a reindeer farm or the Sami museum in Inari. He also has a small traditional cabin where he organizes a dinner with local dishes.Nearby are also (bookable) private saunas. Hence, the owner adds a huge value to your stay. !

Petteris Apartment is really nice and cosy in a very nice place for someone who loves nature and especially snow and the winter time. We would recommend to rent a car if you are staying more than 3-4 days. Petteri is a great and very kind host who gives his best to fulfill the guests wishes. We would recommend everyone to stay at Neitamo44 and say thank you to Petteri for the nice stay and for helping us see aurora.
