Steps to Charley Young Beach, Ocean Views, Pool Retreat

No real ocean view . Just small opening between two buildings in the distance. Decoration was depressing (black and grey curtains in shower on window in the bedroom, dark grey bed cover, a chest of drawers in the bedroom, would have been more useful then a giant tv screen which already was in the living room. No instruction for the tv operation. No cooking pot just 4 frying pans . Only one set of towels for a week. We had 4 days of heavy rain and flooding that kept us indoors. Not one game (checker monopoly etc) we bought a domino set and left it there.

The location was the best thing about a very average apartment. The photo they used to advertise made the apartment look much better than the reality.

The furnishings were okay, but all the drawers were full of junk and broken pieces.

The location is great for walking to beaches and restaurants

Outside if building was a little shabby

The condo was close to the beach and in a good location. You WILL NOT get a view of the ocean but it's close and in good location overall.

The condo has odor that wasn't pleasant and the AC is so loud sounding like a generator inside the unit. Utensils and glasses had odor as well and not thoroughly cleaned and even some knives and forks had remains in them. We have received check-in email and text and we checked-in an hour earlier after getting access when unit was ready and the host charged us $50 through 3rd party link for early check in when the unit was ready for us and idle.

Absolutely perfect stay! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Everything is provided to make you feel right at home: a fully equipped kitchen (utensils, dishes, appliances), high-quality bed linen and towels, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi… nothing was missing! The view from the balcony is stunning, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or watching the sunset. The pool is well maintained and a real treat after a warm day. We instantly felt comfortable, as if it were our own home. Everything is set up for a carefree stay. One thing to note: having a car is recommended to get around and make the most of the area.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Be aware you could charged a large security deposit for something you did not do. It's not worth the risk. We were asked for a security deposit of $500 from Swikly, it's collected in Euros so ends up being around $567. We were charged this deposit two weeks after our stay because they said we smoked twice in the unit. We didn't. Neither my husband nor I are smokers and we never have been. They have a detection device of some sort so sent me that as proof, but I can say with 100% certainty that we did not do this. We can't prove a negative so now we're stuck with this unless our credit card dispute is successful, which isn't likely given the can't prove a negative situation. I would strongly encourage you NOT to stay here. The condo itself is fine, but for three nights we ended up paying close to $1400 with this deposit charged. We could have stayed at a nice hotel for that amount of money.
