18th Century Villa in the UNESCO Bay of Kotor

The view is great. There are everything in the house that we needed. Danilo is a very friendly host and helps a lot about the activites in the town. He even helped me to solve an issue after I left the place. The issue was I forgot my luggage in a local bus when I was going to airport but hopefully got it back before leaving the country.

It's not really a big thing but wifi could be better on the top floor.

Right on the waterfront with outstanding views off the bay, in a more residential area than Kotor but within easy walking distance. Tastefully modernised 18th century property with lovely decor. Very comfortable

The location of the villa is excellent, the villa is very clean and spacious and was fully equipped Danilo the host was very nice and informative

Beautiful views over the bay towards Kotor Old Town, property had everything you'd need for a short stay. Easy to check-in and host was quick at communicating. Apartment was spacious downstairs with kitchen/living/diner and bedrooms on both floors had shower rooms. Plenty of space for friends, couples or families.

It's about 30 minute walk to Kotor Old Town, with limited local amenities (one shop which had most provisions, a two-minute walk away; and a few more shops, bakery about 20 minutes walk away towards Kotor; other options for restaurants were about 20 minutes walk in the opposite direction). The road doesn't have a path for most of it, so you are stop-starting with traffic. We'd researched the location previously, so this wasn't an issue for us as we were planning nights in with our child, but worth referencing for others who might want more local offerings.

A big house by the shore, suitable for two families. We liked the great view of the bay from the window, the overall coziness, good kitchenware, the dishwasher and refrigerator worked well, and we found sugar, salt, and other little things in the kitchen. Bed linens and towels were available in good condition, and we also found toiletries - shampoo and liquid soap. We were able to park the car not far from the cottage, but during peak season, this might be challenging. Note that there isn't a swimming beach nearby.

It takes about half an hour to walk to the old town along a rather narrow road without sidewalks, which sees a lot of traffic. Take note if you're with children, though it's not a problem for adults. The owner should consider changing the lock on the interior door; we had trouble opening it.
