18th Century Villa in the UNESCO Bay of Kotor

It’s wonderful stay for 4 of us. Danilo was there whenever we needed. He gave nice advices around area and things to do around. (Even another cities 😊) The house is located at peaceful area and the views were delightful. Only couple minutes away from Kotor old town. Definitely recommend this place for Kotor area.

The host Danilo could not have been more helpful. We had a fantastic stay from start to finish. The check in and check out process was very easy and the villa was very easy to find. We travelled as 2 couples, one room had a double bed and the other 2 small single beds. There is plenty of room for 4 people to have a comfortable stay. The villa has everything you could need for a self catering holiday The villa is perfectly located as its just far enough outside Kotor Old town to avoid the traffic jams and the large volume of tourists, but close enough to walk in to town. The views of the bay from the villa are spectacular, especially on a clear night where you have the backdrop of the mountains, the lights coming from the bustling old town and the stars above Even though the roads are busy you cant hear the traffic at all inside the villa or when you sleep at night. The neighbours are very nice too! Sundays seem to be the most peaceful day on the bay as there are no cruise ships and the bay is generally a lot quieter

Obviously not to do with the villa itself but worth noting - The road next to the villa is very busy and quite dangerous as there are no pedestrian walkways. We walked in to town a couple of times (took about 20 minutes) but you have to stay vigilant at all times (not recommended at night). If you have hired a car there are spaces to park nearby but you might have to search for some time and be very confident in your parking abilities as the road is very narrow and has two way traffic and one side drops straight in to the bay

The location is absolutely stunning, with absolutely incredible views over the water to Kotor.

Great location and lovely villa

Parking is a bit tricky.

Comfortable, homely and clean . Well presented, house set over 3 floors. Sympathetically decorated embracing the old & modern. Clean well.presented shower rooms with powwerful showers. Host messaged to check if we needed any advice or help with anything. Good local information & comprehensive directions provided. Idyllic views of the bay. Within walking distance of the old town. Would not hesitate to book again. Friendly local neighbours were a bonus.

No pavement along road which leads to the old town, not a huge problem but a little care needed. (of course this is out of the hosts control)

This is one of the best places we have stayed for trips. The villa is lovely, and is just by the sea and within walkable distance from the Kotor old town, but because of this nice distance it is quieter and cheaper. Danilo is superb and very helpful and cares about his guests so much. He was really like a great personal assistant who helped so much during our trips even when we were not in Kotor. He is a sweetheart.

The property is beautiful and well equipped. It has stunning views.we were able to rent canoes from very near the property and the coast line was lovely.

We had not anticipated being so far from the old town and as we had no car we had to resort to long walks in the son or taxis. From the photo of the property we had thought we could use the jetty opposite but we couldn’t. The beaches were a long walk from the property.

Probably the best stay we’ve ever had! The villa is gorgeous. It is very modern, cosy, well equipped and perfect for our group of 4. The photos don’t do it justice, it is even nicer in person. The view from the villa is breathtaking. The host, Danilo, is definitely the best host we’ve ever encountered. Easy going, very helpful, even going out of his way to provide us with best possible experience. We will definitely be going back.
