CASA LOKO Guest House

Convenient location to reach by taxi from the airport, one step inside and it instantly feels like the rest of the city doesn't exist. Pretty dining area and attentive staff. We had breakfast and dinners in front of the swimming pool. Nice food too!

Everything about the property was good. I Got my money worth.

I've stayed in a few places on the West Bank and this was hands down the best. Spotlessly clean with great facilities (the pool is particularly welcome after a tour) and outstanding hosts. It's only a 10 minute walk to the public/private ferries but a million miles away from the felucca, horse & cart and souvenir touts and is the perfect place to stay if you like to sample real life (take a walk through the fields, the farmers are very friendly) as well as a little luxury. Small shops for essentials are a short walk and Wolf restaurant for excellent home cooked food is next door but one. Thank you Mohamed, Daniel, Manuela and Ibrahim, we'll be back!

The travel agency couldn't find the location. Obviously, nothing to do with the host, Egyptians have issues with locations and directions if they don't know where it is.

One of the best hotels we stayed at during 2 months in Egypt! Mahmoud and Mohammad were the absolute best hosts-- they organised drivers, an early AM airport transfer, delivered dinner and shisha to us on the rooftop most nights, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment was nice enough to live in and we felt so comfortable here after travelling rather non-stop for several weeks-- 5 days wasn't enough! The location is in a very local part of the West Bank, away from any tourist bustle but still 15min walk to the river where you can get a ferry across to the temples for about 25egp per person. Would 1000% recommend and will definitely stay again next time we're in Luxor!!

Wonderful family run business. They are keen to look after your needs. They can arrange drivers, etc. The facility is new and of high quality. We had a bedroom with king bed, large closet and balcony. There is a large living room/kitchen and a bathroom with a great hot shower. The pool and gardens are beautiful. There are two large tables where you can have their excellent breakfast. They will also order in suppers from the very good Wolf restaurant next door.Go out the entrance door, turn left and walk for ten minutes to the second grocery store you see . They have great fresh baked bread. Not much further along you reach the Nile and can take a boat across.

We needed to stay longer than the four nights we did.

We had an amazing experience at Casaloko during our trip to Egypt. The place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming especially Mohammad. The cozy atmosphere made it a perfect stay. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Casa Loko is a special place, an oasis of relaxation in a village near Luxor. The owners are very kind and ready to satisfy every need. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Luxor!!
