CASA LOKO Guest House

Calm stay in this new hotel, we were alone. Ibrahim has been very helpful to organize our different tours and activities. Excellent restaurant next door (Wolf), probably the best we had in Egypt.

Originally, we planned to rent bicycle to move around, but the temperature in July were so hot that we abandoned this idea. So all our moves were on foot, and the hotel is a bit far from everything.

Apartments are very comfortable with good working AC. Reliable wifi. Nice pool and rooftop. At first, staff was kind and available for any needs.

The relationship with the staff did change however, after I started booking transports on my own. Sunrise breakfast was no longer offered before our activities and the demeanor became colder. They even confronted the driver (whom they connected me to on the first day) and belittled him in front of us multiple times, throwing us under the bus which made us very uncomfortable. Also, we ordered lite breakfast snacks five out of the seven mornings but when we went to pay the bill at checkout, they had charged us the full breakfast (which is much more expensive and includes many additional items that we didn’t receive). They did revise the bill once we pointed it out.

We are so happy that we found this wonderful gem of a place! It's spacious, clean and they have really thought of all the small details to make sure guests have a wonderful stay! In addition, the team Mohamed and Ibrahim are absolutely amazing! They welcome you as if you are family, and immediately make you feel comfortable. The property is exactly as per the photos and it is so well cared for that it looks new. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to have a memorable stay!

Well equipped, spacious room with all modern conveniences. Excellent location for exploring Valley of the Kings and such. Small scale and quiet, nice pool, friendly staff.

First, EXCEPTIONALLY clean. Aesthetically lovely. Well cared for garden around a pristine pool. Accommodating staff with welcoming and attentive care. Comfortable furnishings and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Thanks to Ibrahim and Mohamet for their hospitality.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room with all amenities possible. Mohamed, Mahmud and Ibrahim were very welcoming from the arrival and helped me with any queries regarding food and transportation and recommendations. The restaurant next door is one of the best places I have eaten in Egypt 👌🏾.

The guest house is located in a quiet rural area which allowed us to get a sense of village life. At the same time, it’s a short walk to the ferry which takes you to the hustle and bustle of the east bank. The apartments in the guest house were spacious and the pool area offered the space to relax after a morning of sightseeing. Above all, Mohamed’s warmth, friendliness and support ensured this was the perfect vacation. He helped with arrangements when we wished but without any pressure.
