Emazing! Apartment is absolutely clean, one of the cleanest I've ever stayed. Interior finishing, furnishing in vintage, Portuguese style, with all details. Apartment is well equipped: microwave owen, dishwasher, fridge, coffe, various spieces. Little bit nosy area during the day (but who stays in appartment during day ;-) ) and finally this is city not village. In the night was quiet, 3 nights have gone without disturbances. Very good contact with owner Maria, she was helpful, recommended interesting places to visit, informed about parking rules in Porto and recommended parking place.

The location was excellent. The apartment was an authentic Portuguese apartment. We really liked it. Maria was lovely. Very kind and helpful. We loved the area too. Good restaurants nearby. We walked everywhere and will be going back for sure!

This was our second stay at Maria's lovely apartment (Our trip to Portugal consisted of a stay in Porto, then Lisbon then back to Porto) It was nice to know we were returning to somewhere we knew would be comfortable and relaxed.

Great location (near the Palacio de Cristal) and, though we mostly walked to city attractions, it was also handy for buses. The apartment itself was nicely laid out and well equipped. It was a bonus to have the extra toilet. Maria, our host, was wonderful too. She met us at the apartment and gave us lots of tips on where to go. She also kindly helped us with arranging taxis and we felt we could rely on her help if we'd encountered any difficulties (which we didn't)

Everything was great.

The hosts were great, very welcoming and with prompt communication. Apartment was spacious. Well stocked with anything we needed. Beds very comfortable, and the rooms were warm, unlike some others on our itinerary. Awesome Mexican restaurant just around the corner, Frida's. Short walk to the Gardens of Crystal Palace. Just a few blocks walking, mostly flat, to the top of the tourist areas. Location is in a quiet area

- Central and walkable to groceries, market and old village, cafes and restaurants - Apartment was lovely!! Quaint and bright with spacious bedrooms. Clean and tidy main bathroom/shower; smaller bathroom in single bed room - kitchen with amenities - Quiet and comfortable! Situated on upper level of apartment - Nice little courtyard

Maria was a fantastic hostess! She met us personally and made us feel welcome. She was always happy to answer any of our questions.

The apartment is round the corner from the Crystal Gardens in a quiet street in the middle of an up & coming arty district. Our apt in this traditional townhouse had 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, light & airy, beautifully furnished with period furniture & a modern kitchen area. Really comfy & having both a balcony to the back of the apt & a lush garden at the back was great. The beds & pillows are super comfy with lovely linen sheets & fluffy towels provided. The kitchen is really well equipped & having the 2 toilets & bathroom was convenient. The air con in each room was most useful as it was 30'. There are a number of restaurants nearby & to walk down into the historic centre takes about 20 mins. Coming back uphill may take longer, but there are buses not far away! The host Maria was so attentive. She met us on arrival, showed us round the apt & provided a map highlighting points of interest. She then texted during our stay asking if we were enjoying Porto & if we needed anything. All in all, a great apartment in an area convenient to explore from.

Unfortunately & totally out of the Host's control, a new metro line is being excavated across Porto with works adjacent to the apartment. Work was ongoing during the day but finished at 7.00 latest. It did spoil the overall look of the street a bit but didn't detract from the lovely apartment & garden once inside, plus these works will not be there forever. The area felt very safe & no problem walking about of an evening.
