Paraíso Apartment

Th e apartment was very clean, quiet for the most part (one neighbor has a dog that barks a fair bit and a rooster for an alarm clock) but for the most part you can sit with the patio door open and hear silence. The bed was comfortable, a portable AC unit was supplied (only needed half the time in mid September). The apartment is about 15-20 minutes outside the city center so does require some walking with hills but it’s nice to be out of the party zone

The only way it could have been improved was to have some of the basic hiss needs such as cooking oil, spices and such provided. Stays of days don’t really lend to buying these items.

Perfect for 2 people but too “tight” for a family of 4. Needed to use the Air Conditioner all night long to cool down the apartment and sleep well

modern apartment in a freshly renovated house. fully equipped with washing machine, coffee maker etc. Entrance to subway just in front of the house - very easy. and main subway station (Trinidade) also only a few hundred meters away. the host gave us good advice concerning the sights, the supermarkets and eating places.

the apartment is a bit north of the historical center - you get to the "nice part" by subway or by walking about 15 min (to market hall). the area seemed to be safe, but "not upmarket". One morning a rooster in a garden nearby woke us up at 5.30 - We slept with closed windows the next night.

- Good location, easy walk into the main town - Clean and comfortable - Carlos was very communicative and rectified any issues immediately :)

Carlos is extremely responsive and kind, he gave us also a list of recommendations. We had some issues at the apartment and he solved them immediately. The apartment was clean and well equipped, also it has nice design The apartment is right next to the metro entrance, that’s a big advantage!

There is needed a mosquito screen for the balcony door because we got bitten a lot the nights we stayed. The bedroom has no window so it was quite hot inside.
