Great communication and support from hosts, very welcoming, informative, and contactable. Comfortable bright apartment with stunning views and in good location everything in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and in main happy.

Where apartment was in the main clean & fresh, and comfortable...sadly the bathroom let it down quite a bit .... The shower cubicle/ tiles could do with deep clean & shower head fixed... also, lack of plug in the sink made difficult to wash/ shave. Kitchen equipment very basic ... would benefit from additional plates, serving dishes, oven dishes, and definitely 'larger' cups!...and a knife that cuts.

The owner and his father were exceptionally lovely and welcoming. The room was spacious.

The apartment smelled of damp, even though we ran the air conditioner constantly. I suspect the same is true formany apartment in Porto as it rains a lot there. The only way to let fresh air in was by opening the ancient conservatory windows, and there was no way to secure them open, so they could slam shut in the wind, causing damage. We didn't like the neighbourhood due to grafitti and abandoned buildings.

The location and view from our apartment was wonderful. We got a view of the river and the neighborhood for most part was very quiet. The host's father met us on our delayed arrival due to us missing our connecting flight to Lisbon. He was very pleasant and gave us an overview of the apartment, neighborhood areas to eat at and a summary the main downtown area along the river in Porto to visit during our stay.

We did not meet the host at all. We were told he lived in the same building a floor below but was not able to make in person contact with him even once. Thought this was odd. All along prior to our arrival he was very prompt to respond to any messages via Booking.com. However, as the apartment notice stated that we should call (via WhatsApp) or email him to his email address if we needed anything.. I did reach out as directed to ask a couple of questions. One being that the kitchen only had one large coffee cup and asked if we could get another, clarifying the parking space availability for the rest of our stay and asking if there was any sugar for coffee. No response was received until I had to re-send the message via Booking.com. He responded stating that the coffee cup needed deep cleaning after the prior guest's stay. Very odd response. The Wi-Fi in the apartment had a couple of dead zones that we notified the host about and it was corrected right away. The bathroom had some hair on the floor and the shower small but manageable and well used. The water heater could accommodate two quick showers as we learnt after the first day it ran out of hot water. I did not receive any specific response to my query about what to do with the keys and tax money we were told needed to be paid (16 Euros) prior to check-out. So, we left them in the apartment and departed.

We didn't have any breakfast facility ,only a coffee making machine.

Nothing really, the apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. It is also near the city center and everything is within walking distance.

Great location, very clean, great facilities. Huge apartment.
