Great location! Close to everything

Everything was perfect for us.

Lovely apartment with an incredible location for exploring Porto. We had a young baby. Very comfortable and accessible

Very friendly and responsive host(s) - communications were easy. Nice sized apartment that felt like home (though it felt like someone-else's home). Location was mostly good, with plenty of restaurants, sights, metro stop, grocery, market, and shopping a short walk away.

There's a group of sketchy druggies that hangs out right outside the balcony/ living room windows all day/ night. Since the apartment entrance is on the other side of the building we could avoid them as we come and go, but it was just annoying to see them doing their activities (buying, trading, looking around on the ground for dropped drugs, smoking whatever they had while 'hiding' their heads under a towel, etc) every time we looked out the window or wanted to enjoy the nice weather on the balcony. Oh, and then there's the day the shop below us decided to grill some food under our balcony and the whole apartment smelled like smoke even though we had the windows closed. On a separate note... we booked a furnished apartment with a kitchen because we get tired of eating out all day every day and just want to eat some healthy home-cooked meals. However, this apartment didn't have any pans, so had to go out find one which costs us another 22 EUR.

Great apartment in perfect location to explore the area, highly recommend.

Location! Easy walk to Bento train station and to town. Room is quiet considering it’s so close to everything. Bed was comfortable

When we chatted with the owner and he knew that we missed our flight and would arrive early the next morning. However, he didn’t answer my chats that we arrived at airport and time of arrival. Nor did he respond to chats or phone calls for over an hr of us waiting outside apt to check in until Booking.com tried to reach the owner. His assistant checked us in but had to be called back about 5 hrs later to apt after we noticed there was no hot water turned on and the a/c leaked down the wall on the tv and the dresser and floor. Owner should add clothes hook in bathroom to place clothes somewhere not on sink.

The property located in the historical center close to Sao Bento station, small grocery store and the restaurants. The hot water was available all the time. Check-out process is comfortable and unattended. The host was very responsive and helpful.

The property was not ready for check-in until 22:00, we had to wait outside. The apartment was not cleaned properly. The beds are uncomfortable. There are stairs in the bed room. There are small ants in the living room. The windows even closed let all the noise from the street through. The WiFi router is not configured for secure connectivity.

Great location! In the heart of the city and within easy reach of transport and tours that are literally on your door step! Bars and restaurants all within seconds walk of the apartment so the location is by far the best thing about this apartment.

We had issues EVERY DAY! We had the air conditioning unit leak in the bedroom as the temperature was so cold outside we had the heating on. It dripped over the floor and unit so had to put towels down to keep it dry. We had LOADS of ants in the property. Ants were in the kitchen, over food, in the hall and also in the bathroom! They did clean the ants away on the first occasion with a spray and they returned two days later in the bathroom and I advised I’ll use the spray that was under the sink as it was our last night. The owner said it was just a mishap! Not great at all. I went to use the oven on my second morning to make breakfast and it blew the electric in the whole apartment. I informed the owner as we had no lights, power, no kettle nothing! Whilst we were out, it was fixed and we were informed not to use the oven going forward so we couldn’t cook. We booked an apartment so we could cook being there for 5 days yet wasn’t possible and the owner told us to use the microwave to cook and also for toast to use a sandwich maker! It really wasn’t a great stay and it’s frustrating that the owners just say it’s unfortunate and seem to think it’s acceptable.

The apartment was clean, nicely equipped and decorated, just 200m from Sao Bento train station. Even though the streets below were busy with tourists and traffic the apartment was well insulated and quiet. The host was there when we arrived and everything worked great: TV, kitchen, wifi. There is a partial view of Porto Cathedral, enough to see if it was busy or not. For location, most things to do and see involve a walk toward the river, but part of the fun.

No access to clothes washer, I think it was behind a locked door. No big deal though.
