ORM- Flores Apartment

The apartment was fantastic, big and spacious with a big balcony overlooking the street. The location was perfect, we were on a street with shops and restaurants located close to everywhere we wanted to walk to all within easy walking distance.

I liked it all.

We stayed in the 3rd floor apartment with a balcony which we enjoyed relaxing on at the beginning and end of the day. The bedrooms in this apartment are at the back of the property so it was really quiet at night despite being on a lively street. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and in a great location for exploring Porto and very close to Sao Bento station so easy to get to and from the airport via Metro with no hills to negotiate with luggage!

Everything was great. There was a slight issue getting the key out of the key box but this was easily resolved after talking to the hosts (you have to press the front of the box at the top when inputting the code!! ;-)

Really nice, modern, spacious apartment for a group, right in the centre and close to restaurants. Full kitchen and outdoor area if needed.

As the apartment is on the main walking street, there is a lot of noise at night and nothing to stop it filtering through. Recommend bringing earplugs.

Excellent location; felt brand new. Excellent shower pressure. All facilities were in place. The street has no cars most of the time which is awesome. Staff were easy to contact.

The street is noisy until 1030pm and starts up again around 6:30am but this is normal for this centre of town!

Location, size

Wjth the rooms at the front of the apartment located on a very busy and popular pedestrian street, the noise level was insane until very late at night. Plus, garbage pick up starts at 6am which was every day…so the sleep was good for just a few hours. Downside for International visitors, check in is at 5pm. When your flight arrives at 7am and you are in the city by 8:30, nothing to do but walk around until you are messaged and told the appartement is ready. Probably fine for young travellers but not so much for an older crowd that is jet lag and walking for hours in 40c weather!! Some staff was friendly but 1 specific woman was extremely unpleasant. They can also arrange for car drop offs/pick up but take cash only with no receipts which is not convenient at all when travelling for work. Since the place is on a pedestrian street, no pick up at the door either. Even though apartment was clean, spacious and well situated, I will not return for all the above mentioned reasons.
