Janika's Apartment

The apartment was really nice and Teresa, the host, was very nice and responsive.

Unfortunately the apartment is not air-conditioned which is challenging during hot days. Multiple fans were provided which was good.

El cuidado de los detalles materiales, grandes y pequeños y, por supuesto, la atención amabilísima de la anfitiona.

Algo que no es imputable al apartamento: presenciamos dos robos en el callejón contiguo.

The apartment was great! Wonderful location and easy to be out and about exploring Porto. They provide plenty of fans to help with the lack of AC.

Muy bien ubicado y Teresa super atenta

Eramos 3, el depto es muy pequeño, la cama bajo la escalera inutil de utilizar, no tiene aire acondionado y los ventiladores no eran la mejor opcion. Faltan mosquiteros en las ventanas. La combinacion era, ventanas cerradas, y sin aire acondicionado. Frente a la habitacion del cuarto, una obra en construccion, no habia opcion de ventana abierta.

El apartamento es súper acogedor, el rinconcito de abajo para los niños maravilloso, estaba todo impecable y la ubicación mejor imposible. La anfitriona una maravilla, llegamos antes de la hora y lo tenía todo listo para entrar. Un pastel de bienvenida que estaba riquísimo nos estaba esperando en la mesa de la cocina ❤️

La única pega por poner una es que no tiene aire acondicionado, cierto es que en Oporto la temperatura es fresquita por las noches y tienen tres ventiladores que funcionan muy bien, pero el último día que las temperaturas eran más altas, aún con el ventilador se notaba el calor. Otro dato por si alguien le ayuda es que el parking que está a 3 minutos no tiene tarifa del día, te cobra por minutos, después de tres días cuando fuimos a sacar el coche nos cobraron 185€, aunque fue fallo nuestro por no preguntar, no esperábamos que un parking no tuviera tarifa diaria.

A Tereza é a anfitriã, muito prestativa e sempre de prontidão. Ela passa dicas muito úteis sobre localização, acesso e pontos turísticos. Ela explica tudo o que tem dentro do apartamento, que apesar de ser pequeninho, é perfeito! Tem tudo o que se precisa.

Absolutely perfect spot for exploring Porto! We had an excellent stay.

We were met by the property host , Andrea, upon arrival to show us around and answer any questions. What a lovely person she is! There was a delicious, homemade chocolate cake and port wine there to greet us (a lovely and heartfelt welcome!!) and the keys are easily accessible by lockbox. The apartment is well stocked for cooking and coffee/tea along with shower gel are also provided. The location is fantastic and the sound proofing windows are excellent to have quiet night’s sleep. There is no AC so if traveling in the summer, be aware of this, but there are good fans to use and it was no problem - even with unusually high temps of 33°! Lovely, well thought out space. We traveled on a girls trip- 3 of us- and had plenty of room. Great little hideaway in the kitchen with a mattress if traveling with small children. Communication was excellent from start to finish! I will return and couldn’t recommend more highly! Thanks Teresa and Andrea! It’s obvious you have put your heart and passion into this project! Grateful you shared it with us.

AC would have been wonderful but we were there during unusually high temps so under normal conditions, wouldn’t be an issue. The fans were great and there were several!
