Janika's Apartment

We were met by the property host , Andrea, upon arrival to show us around and answer any questions. What a lovely person she is! There was a delicious, homemade chocolate cake and port wine there to greet us (a lovely and heartfelt welcome!!) and the keys are easily accessible by lockbox. The apartment is well stocked for cooking and coffee/tea along with shower gel are also provided. The location is fantastic and the sound proofing windows are excellent to have quiet night’s sleep. There is no AC so if traveling in the summer, be aware of this, but there are good fans to use and it was no problem - even with unusually high temps of 33°! Lovely, well thought out space. We traveled on a girls trip- 3 of us- and had plenty of room. Great little hideaway in the kitchen with a mattress if traveling with small children. Communication was excellent from start to finish! I will return and couldn’t recommend more highly! Thanks Teresa and Andrea! It’s obvious you have put your heart and passion into this project! Grateful you shared it with us.

AC would have been wonderful but we were there during unusually high temps so under normal conditions, wouldn’t be an issue. The fans were great and there were several!

It was compact and well thought out. Chocolate cake on arrival was delicious. Great location. Very good communication and so helpful when I left personal items there and arranged to get them back to me.

A bit noisy

This is me and the girls 3rd Europe city break from the past 3 years and was genuinely an unforgettable one. We usually choose to stay in hotels but this time we decided that we’d choose an apartment as we liked the idea of a bit more space and this one was highly reviewed and had a good location. I will also quickly say: as being younger girls I’ve always been nervous about staying in an apartment rather than hotels because I felt like they might be less safe but this accommodation felt so unbelievably safe and completely changed my mind. This apartment was beautiful to say the least. I do pay attention to all the small details and the fact that our hosts were so lovely and accommodating and just everything from the wee nibbles set out for us when we arrived to the rituals soaps in the bathroom it was perfect. I also was surprised because in the past I’ve stayed in places and honestly the photos a lot of times look better than when you are actually there - like when you are there you notice all the wee things like scuffs on the wall etc. but this place was spotless. Overall amazing holiday, amazing hosts and beautiful accommodation - I have recommended Porto and this accommodation to other members of my family and my friends :) - Tiah, Amelie and Caitlin ❤️ From Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

No complaints :) was perfect

The apartment was great, cozy, a welcome cake and Porto wine waited for us. The location was perfect and quiet. There are fans in the apt. but no A/C , we did not have hot days but if the weather is hot the apartment may be a bit warm. The bathroom is beautiful and spacy.. we traveled with our two children and whom had a great time in the "cool" space below the bedroom to play and "hang out"
