Apartment Splendid Marjan

The location is very close from the palace and super market. It take 5min with stairs to get there also there was another option without stairs but take longer. The owner helped a lot to explained all the information we could visit.

Parking is crowded a little with hilly road.

The host was friendly and helpful; she booked us a late taxi from Split airport, and stayed up to welcome us even though our plane was delayed until after midnight. She gave us loads of information about the local area, what to do and see. The flat was spotless and very well equipped. It has a balcony with a beautiful view of the old town centre of Split, which is a 5 minute walk away. There is a fifteen minute walk from the flat to a lovely beach. The water was warm enough to bathe in November. In the other direction, it's a two minute walk from a beautiful forest park.

Beware of sneaky mosquitoes at dusk. Be ready with the Jungle Juice.

Location perfect for being a little away from the main city, but so easily reachable.

Reluctant to have any criticism, we thought the sofa could have been bigger and more comfortable, but a minor point and we are old! Bed was super comfortable.

Fantastic location as long as you are able bodied, plenty of steps into town. the view from the apartment was superb and the host was most helpful

Didn't realise you had to leave a 300 euro deposit in cash on arrival in cash to pick up when you leave. Most people don't carry that amount of spare cash with them. It was in the small print, but who reads all the small print?

Splendid view to the town and port. Quiet surroundings. Comfortable terrace. Host explained everything important including Split attractions and restaurants - that was very nice.

Really poor internet, based on 4G modem - few Mb/s often less than 1Mb/s, generally unstable. But there is available good 5G coverage if you have your own internet package on your mobile.

We loved the location ; near all the major sights yet in a peaceful neighborhood next to Marjan hill. Great views overlooking the old town and bay. We enjoyed our breakfasts and suppers on the terrace while viewing the scenery. Bed was better than we’ve had anywhere else on our travels. Hospitable and flexible host helped make our visit easy and stress-free. We also got great tips on restaurants and sights - Thank you Elena!

There was nothing we didn’t like, but if you’re a senior or have hard time moving on foor, better arrive on car because there’s lots of stairs to reach this place directly from old towns center.

Apartment in a great place, away from any city noise, but there were lots of stairs to climb to get up from the harbour area, so you need to be reasonably fit especially in the heat.

Beautifully styled and great views of the harbour. Short walk into town ( via steps) It had everything we needed for our family stay. Hosts were super friendly and helpful.
